Approved Leave definition

Approved Leave means: (i) a paid leave of absence, approved by a Participating Company and paid through a Participating Company’s payroll, including, for greater certainty, a leave during which the Eligible Employee is in receipt of short-term disability benefits; or (ii) an unpaid leave of absence taken in accordance with applicable employment standards legislation during which the applicable legislation requires that the Eligible Employee be permitted to elect to continue participation in the Plan during the leave.

Approved Leave means a leave of absence authorized by the Company under the Company’s standard personnel practices; provided, that all persons under similar circumstances must be treated alike in the granting of such Approved Leaves; and provided further, that the Participant returns within the period specified in the Approved Leave.

Approved Leave means an employee’s or officer’s absence from assigned work that is authorized by the employee’s or officer’s supervisor.

Examples of Approved Leave in a sentence

• A Participant who has been on an Approved Leave of Absence for more than 90 days shall not be eligible to participate in any Offering that begins on or after the commencement of such Approved Leave of Absence so long as such leave of absence continues.

• If you do not resume providing Service to the Company or any Affiliate following your Approved Leave, your Service will be deemed to have terminated upon the expiration of the Approved Leave.

• In the event of an Approved Leave of Absence, vesting of RSUs shall be suspended (and all subsequent vesting dates shall be postponed by the length of the period of the Approved Leave of Absence) unless otherwise provided in the Company’s written approval of the leave of absence that specifically refers to this Agreement.

• The granting of the leave, or refusal to grant the leave and reasons for that refusal, will be recorded in the minutes of the meeting If an Elected Member on Approved Leave subsequently attends the meeting, this will be noted in the Minutes.

• Any non-standard language related to Approved Leave of Absence During Vacation shall be continued as Article 21.02 Where an employee’s scheduled vacation is interrupted due to serious illness, which either commenced prior to or during the scheduled vacation period, the period of such illness shall be considered sick leave.

More Definitions of Approved Leave

Approved Leave means an approved personal or medical leave of absence with an employment guarantee (by statute or contract) upon return.

Approved Leave means leave approved under this or another Act or an industrial determination.

Approved Leave means the period of job-protected temporary absence available under Part XIV of the Employment Standards Act, 2000 (Ontario) or the period of a temporary absence of a Member from duty in the Diocese with the approval of the Bishop under section (1) of Article 6, and ceases at the end of the term of such absence or approval;

Approved Leave means the period of an Offered Employee’s authorized absence from work approved by Seller in accordance with its normal policies and practices (including approved absences for short-term disability, illness, military leave and qualifying leave under the Family Medical Leave Act), which begins on or before the Closing Date and ends, except with respect to any Offered Employee on military leave, not later than 84 days after the inception of such leave, and the particulars of which (including the name of the Offered Employee, the reason for the leave, the beginning and ending date of the authorized leave) are provided to Buyer in writing at the effective time of this Agreement and supplemented, revised and updated in writing by Seller as different or additional information becomes available. In addition, all Approved Leave is pursuant to and consistent with Seller’s normal policies and practices.

Approved Leave. Has the meaning set forth in Section 2(b) of Schedule E to the General Terms and Conditions Schedule E

Approved Leave means leave taken in accordance with Part 12 of this agreement.

Approved Leave means leave taken in accordance with clause 9 of this Agreement. ATO means Australian Taxation Office. Cold Stack means the rig is not operational and has no personnel working on board.
