Approved Devices definition

Approved Devices means Approved Set-Top Boxes and Approved IP Devices.
Approved Devices means each of the devices listed on the Schedule of Approved Devices as the same may be updated and amended (or deemed updated or amended) from time to time in accordance with Section 2.6 (Approved Devices) of this Agreement;
Approved Devices means individually addressed and addressable IP-enabled Xbox Consoles, Personal Computers and, Zunes and Tablets, each of which are designed to implement the Usage Rules and support the Approved Format, including, without limitation, the Security Solution encompassed within the Approved Format, the Approved Transmission Means, and the Content Protection Obligations and Requirements set forth in Schedule C, as applicable. The parties acknowledge and agree that any device that is not an Xbox Console, a Personal Computer or a Zune, including, without limitation, other game consoles, set-top-boxes, portable media devices and mobile phones that do not run Zune-branded applications, shall not be an “Approved Device.”

  • Licensee shall investigate in good faith the updating of all Approved Devices shipped to users before December 31, 2011 with a view to disabling HD analogue outputs on such devices.

  • During the License Period, Licensee may use Promotional Elements provided or made available by Licensor solely for the purpose of advertising, promoting and publicizing the distribution and/or availability of the Programs through the Approved Devices.


More Definitions of Approved Devices

Approved Devices means any Approved Set Top Box, Connected TV, Mobile Phone, or Tablet that runs on an Approved Operating System and satisfies the Content Protection Requirements and Usage Rules set forth in Schedules C and U, attached hereto.

Approved Devices means (a) an individually addressed and addressable IP-enabled desktop or laptop device with a hard drive, keyboard and monitor, designed for multiple office and other applications using a silicon chip/microprocessor architecture that runs on one of the following operating systems: Macintosh OS X, Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows NT, Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows 7, Linux, [Chrome]1, any future versions of the foregoing (unless such future version is specifically disapproved by Licensor) or any other operating system specifically approved, in writing, by Licensor (“Permitted OS”) and (b) the devices listed in Schedule B. The parties acknowledge and agree that, except to the extent a specific model or class of models, as applicable, is listed in Schedule B, game consoles, set-top-boxes, portable media devices (such as the Apple iPod), PDAs and mobile phones shall not be “Approved Devices.” Licensor agrees to work in good faith with Licensee to permit delivery of Included Programs to additional devices (e.g. mobile devices, video game consoles, internet-enabled televisions and set top boxes) subject to approval by Licensor, provided that such approval may only be withheld for bona fide content protection and/or security concerns.
Approved Devices means each Approved IP Device” means any and Approved Set- Top Box, Connected TV, Connected Blu-ray Player, Personal Computer, Mobile Phone or Tablet that (i) satisfies the Non-UV Content Protection Requirements and (ii) enforces the Non-UV Usage Rules. collectively.
