Appropriation definition

Appropriation means an authorization granted by a legislative body to incur obligations and to expend public funds for a stated purpose.

  • Early Termination includes: Termination due to completion of the Project before the Reversion Date; or Termination due to complete expenditure of the Appropriation Amount before the Reversion Date; or Termination for violation of the terms of this Agreement; or Termination for mishandling of public funds, including but not limited to, fraud, waste, abuse, conflicts of interest.
