Apprenticeship Authority definition

Apprenticeship Authority means the Commissioner for Vocational Training appointed under the Apprenticeship and Traineeship Act 2001, the Vocational Training Board constituted under the Act, or the Industrial Relations Commission formed under the Industrial Relations Act 1996.
Apprenticeship Authority means the Commissioner of Vocational Training appointed under the Industrial and Commercial Training Act 1989, the Vocational Training Board constituted under the Act or the Industrial Relations Commission of New South Wales established by the Industrial Relations Act 1996.
Apprenticeship Authority for the purposes of this agreement means an authority created by validly passed Queensland Legislation.

  • Registered apprenticeship program means an apprenticeship program which is registered with and approved by the United States Department of Labor and which provides each trainee with combined classroom and on-the-job training in an occupation recognized as an apprenticeable trade and meets the program standards of enrollment and graduation under 29 C.F.R. s.29.6.
