Appraisal experience definition

Appraisal experience means appraisal related experience obtained by performing fee and staff appraisals, ad valorem tax appraisals, condemnation appraisals, appraisal reviews, appraisal analyses, real estate consulting, highest and best use analyses, feasibility analyses or studies, and by teaching appraisal courses;
Appraisal experience means time spent in developing and reporting a real property appraisal. It is not intended to include “drive time” to and from the subject property, nor the time spend driving to inspect comparable sales.Otherwise, time spent discussing the assignment with the client, inspecting the property, market data research, assessor and tax record research, anal- ysis, report writing and time spend in reviewing the report with the trainee’s supervisor are all to be included. In each case, the Board is interested in knowing how many hours the trainee actually spent in appraisal develop- ment and reporting for that specific assignment.
Appraisal experience means experience obtained by the performance of appraisals, appraisal reviews, appraisal consult- ing assignments, or mass appraisals in accordance with the Uni- form Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice in effect at the time the experience is obtained.

  • Independent Financial Expert means a U.S. investment banking firm of national standing in the United States, (i) which does not, and whose directors, officers and employees or affiliates do not have a direct or indirect material financial interest for its proprietary account in the Company or any of its affiliates and (ii) which, in the judgment of the board of directors of the Company, is otherwise independent with respect to the Company and its affiliates and qualified to perform the task for which it is to be engaged.

The decision of the third appraiser so appointed and chosen shall be given within 30 days after the selection of such third appraiser. If three appraisers shall be appointed and the determination of one appraiser is disparate from the middle determination by more than twice the amount by which the other determination is disparate from the middle determination, then the determination of such appraiser shall be excluded, the remaining two determinations shall be averaged and such average shall be binding and conclusive upon the Company and the Investor; otherwise, the average of all three determinations shall be binding upon the Company and the Investor. The costs of conducting any Appraisal Procedure shall be borne by the Company.

  • Independent Appraiser means a nationally recognized or major regional investment banking firm or firm of independent certified public accountants of recognized standing (which may be the firm that regularly examines the financial statements of the Issuer) that is regularly engaged in the business of appraising the Capital Stock or assets of corporations or other entities as going concerns, and which is not affiliated with either the Issuer or the Holder of any Warrant.
