Examples of Application for Payment in a sentence
Manhattan Beach USD, or its designee, must approve and pay each Application for Payment, less a retention amount (“Retention”) of five percent (5%) in accordance with California Public Contract Code §7201, within thirty (30) calendar days after its receipt of the Application for Payment; provided, however, that there is to be no Retention with respect to the design and engineering and any fee for the Report.
In addition, as the Work progresses, Chevron Energy Solutions will submit to Manhattan Beach USD its applications for monthly payments based on the progress made on the Project through the date on which Chevron Energy Solutions submits its Application for Payment.
Manhattan Beach USD will be deemed to have waived and released any dispute known to it with respect to a bill if such notice and written explanation is not provided within fifteen (15) calendar days after the date the Application for Payment was received by Manhattan Beach USD.
In the event that Manhattan Beach USD disputes all or a portion of any Application for Payment, Manhattan Beach USD will pay the undisputed portion when due and provide Chevron Energy Solutions a written notice and explanation of the basis for the dispute and the amount of the Application for Payment being withheld related to the dispute.
The final Application for Payment may be submitted after Final Completion.
