The First Appellate Authority or Second Appellate Authority, as the case may be, upon filing of appeal, shall issue notice accompanied by copy of appeal, affidavit and documents, if any, to the respondents and fix date of hearing.
Appellate Authority shall mean the authority designated by the State Health Agency which has the powers to accept and adjudicate on appeals by the aggrieved party against the decisions of any Grievance Redressal Committee set up pursuant to the Insurance Contract between the State Health Agency and the Insurer.
Any aggrieved employee after the final punishment, within 30 days from the date of receipt of the order, can prefer an appeal to the Trust Board which is the Appellate Authority.
The decision of the Appellate Authority will be final and binding on the employee.
