Antivirus Software definition

Antivirus Software means a program that monitors a computer or network to identify all major types of malware and prevent or contain malware incidents.
Antivirus Software. Means Antivirus Software, as such term is defined in Exhibit 1 (e.g., McAfee, Symantec AV (aka Norton), Trend Micro). Application Software Means Application Software, as such term is defined in Exhibit 1. Application Utilities System Software that provides an addition to the capabilities of Application Software or COTS that allow for dynamic tailoring of the functionality (e.g., Cognos, SAS, Filenet, ERIS ARCxxx, Crystal Reports, Citrix, SQL Editor, Webtrends). Compilers System Software used to convert source code to executable code (e.g., Cobol, MicroFocus Cobol).
Antivirus Software means software programs and programming (and modifications, replacements, upgrades, enhancements, documentation, materials and media related thereto) that are used to monitor for, filter and detect the presence of Malicious Code and repair or remediate the effects of Malicious Code to the extent a Party has financial or operational responsibility for such programs or programming under SCHEDULES E.1, or E.2. Antivirus Software shall include all such programs or programming in use (or required to be in use) as of the FARA Effective Date, including those set forth in SCHEDULES B and B.B. Antivirus Software also shall include all such programs or programming selected by or for AT&T on or after the Effective Date to the extent a Party has financial or operational responsibility for such programs or programming under SCHEDULES E.1, or E.2.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Business Software expressly excludes any and all Excluded IP.

  • System Software means Software that provides the operating and management instructions for the underlying hardware and other components, and is identified as such in Appendix 4 of the Contract Agreement and such other Software as the parties may agree in writing to be Systems Software. Such System Software includes, but is not restricted to, micro-code embedded in hardware (i.e., “firmware”), operating systems, communications, system and network management, and utility software.

  • Embedded Software means one or more software applications which permanently reside on a computing device.

  • Company Software means Software owned or purported to be owned by or developed by or for the Company or any Company Subsidiary.

  • Malicious Software means any software program or code intended to destroy, interfere with, corrupt, or cause undesired effects on program files, data or other information, executable code or application software macros, whether or not its operation is immediate or delayed, and whether the malicious software is introduced wilfully, negligently or without knowledge of its existence.

  • Customer Technology means Customer's proprietary technology, including Customer's Internet operations design, content, software tools, hardware designs, algorithms, software (in source and object forms), user interface designs, architecture, class libraries, objects and documentation (both printed and electronic), know-how, trade secrets and any related intellectual property rights throughout the world (whether owned by Customer or licensed to Customer from a third party) and also including any derivatives, improvements, enhancements or extensions of Customer Technology conceived, reduced to practice, or developed during the term of this Agreement by Customer.

  • Third Party Software means software which is proprietary to any third party (other than an Affiliate of the Contractor) which is or will be used by the Contractor for the purposes of providing the Services.

  • Contractor Software means software which is proprietary to the Contractor, including software which is or will be used by the Contractor for the purposes of providing the Services.

  • Proprietary Software means computer software developed for and owned by the Failed Bank for its own purpose and use.

  • Commercial Software means Software developed or regularly used that: (i) has been sold, leased, or licensed to the general public; (ii) has been offered for sale, lease, or license to the general public; (iii) has not been offered, sold, leased, or licensed to the public but will be available for commercial sale, lease, or license in time to satisfy the delivery requirements of this Contract; or (iv) satisfies a criterion expressed in (i), (ii), or (iii) above and would require only minor modifications to meet the requirements of this Contract.

  • Customized Software or “Customization” means any Application Software code modified or amended on behalf of the Customer. Setting of parameters, parameterization or configuration is not a Customization.

  • Supported Software means the supported software identified in the Proposal. System means the designated information technology environment in which the Software is to be used. Term means the term of this Agreement specified in clause 2.

  • Application Software means Software formulated to perform specific business or technical functions and interface with the business or technical users of the System and is identified as such in Appendix4 of the Contract Agreement and such other Software as the parties may agree in writing to be Application Software.
