Antibodies in the Field definition

Antibodies in the Field means humanized and chimeric antibodies that bind to IL-2R. It is believed that these Antibodies in the Field may be useful for therapeutic, diagnostic, imaging and similar purposes. It is understood that the Field includes, but is not limited to, that certain humanized murine monoclonal antibody prepared against the p55 component of IL-2R (“humanized anti-Tac”). Furthermore, the Field includes, but is not limited to, all improvements relating to humanized anti-Tac, including without limitation modifications in structure introduced by genetic engineering, or by chemical or enzymatic cleavage. Also included within the Field shall be alternate hosts for producing humanized anti-Tac, methods for purification, formulations incorporating humanized anti-Tac, and uses and methods of use for humanized anti-Tac in human medicine.

Also included within the Field shall be alternate hosts for producing humanized anti-Tac, methods for purification, formulations incorporating humanized anti-Tac, and uses and methods of use for humanized anti-Tac in human medicine. Humanized anti-Tac is also known as "Daclizumab". "Daclizumab" as used in this Amended and Restated Agreement means any product that contains Daclizumab.

Examples of Antibodies in the Field in a sentence

  • Notwithstanding anything to contrary in this Agreement, during the Term of this Agreement, Zymeworks agrees that it shall neither: (i) make, use, offer to sell, sell, and import Products and/or Antibodies in the Field in the Territory; nor (ii) grant any rights to Zymeworks Intellectual Property to any Affiliate, sublicensee or other Third Parties to make, use, offer to sell, sell, and import Products and/or Antibodies in the Field in the Territory.

  • With respect to each Lilly Target Pair, Zymeworks hereby grants to Lilly an exclusive license under the Zymeworks Intellectual Property (including Zymeworks’ interest in Joint Inventions) to (a) make, use and import Antibodies Directed To such Lilly Target Pair for incorporation into Products and (b) make, use, offer to sell, sell, and import Products that incorporate such Antibodies in the Field in the Territory as of the Effective Date and during the Term of the Agreement (the “License”).

  • For the avoidance of doubt, as between the Parties, it shall be GSK’s determination and responsibility to obtain rights to any Patent Rights or Know-How that is necessary for the Development, Manufacture or Commercialization of the Licensed Antibodies in the Field in the Territory.

  • It is believed that these Antibodies in the Field may be useful for therapeutic, diagnostic, imaging and similar purposes.

  • If Incyte notifies Agenus in writing within the PD-1 Trigger Period that Incyte desires to negotiate an agreement, the Parties shall negotiate in good faith for up to [**] from the date of such notification (the “PD-1 Negotiation Period”), or such longer period as agreed between the Parties, regarding the terms pursuant to which the Parties would enter into a transaction with respect to such PD-1 Antibodies in the Field in the XX-0 Xxxxxxxxx.

  • Novartis wishes to obtain, and AVEO wishes to grant, rights under the AVEO Technology to develop, make, use and sell biological products incorporating the AVEO Antibodies in the Field (as defined below), as set forth herein.

Related to Antibodies in the Field

  • Exclusive Field means the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of any cancer in humans through the use of Engineered T-Cells, which shall exclude the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of medullary cystic kidney disease 1 regardless of whether such disease is characterized as a cancer.

  • Licensed Field means all fields of use.

  • Licensed Field of Use means all fields.

  • Licensed Fields of Use means the fields of use identified in Appendix B.

  • Collaboration Patent Rights means Patent Rights claiming Collaboration Know-How.

  • Field of Use means all fields of use.

  • Collaboration Patents means any and all Patents that claim or cover any of the Collaboration Know-How.

  • Product Technology means the Product Know-How and Product Patents.

  • Licensor Technology means the Licensor Patents and the Licensor Know-How.

  • Joint Technology means the Joint Know-How and the Joint Patent Rights.

  • Third Party Technology means all Intellectual Property and products owned by third parties and licensed pursuant to Third Party Licenses.

  • Licensed Patent Rights means:

  • Antibody means a molecule or a gene encoding such a molecule comprising or containing one or more immunoglobulin variable domains or parts of such domains or any existing or future fragments, variants, modifications or derivatives thereof.

  • Licensed Patents means (a) all United States patents and patent applications listed in Exhibit A, as modified pursuant to Section 2.6.1, including patents arising from such patent applications; and (b) any re-examination certificates thereof, and their foreign counterparts and extensions, continuations, divisionals, and re-issue applications; provided that “Licensed Patents” will not include any claim of a patent or patent application covering any Manufacturing Technology.

  • Commercialize or “Commercialization” means the marketing, promotion, sale (and offer for sale or contract to sell), distribution, importation or other commercial exploitation (including pricing and reimbursement activities) for a Product in the Territory. Commercialization shall include commercial activities conducted in preparation for Product launch.

  • Licensed Technology means the Licensed Patents and the Licensed Know-How.

  • Program Patent Rights means any Patent Rights that are Controlled by one or both parties and that Cover any Program Technology or Program Materials. For clarification, such Program Patent Rights include the entire scope of all of the claims contained in such Patent Rights.

  • Joint Patent Rights means all Patent Rights claiming a Joint Invention.

  • Technology Rights means BOARD's rights in any technical information, know-how, processes, procedures, compositions, devices, methods, formulae, protocols, techniques, software, designs, drawings or data created by the inventor(s) listed in Exhibit I at UTMDACC before the EFFECTIVE DATE, which are not claimed in PATENT RIGHTS but that are necessary for practicing PATENT RIGHTS.

  • Licensed Compounds means any EZH2 Compound(s) that is:

  • Patent Rights means all patents and patent applications, including all divisionals, continuations, substitutions, continuations-in-part, re-examinations, reissues, additions, renewals, extensions, registrations, and supplemental protection certificates and the like of any of the foregoing.

  • Vaccine means a specially prepared antigen which, upon administration to a person, will result in immunity and, specifically for the purposes of this rule, shall mean influenza and pneumococcal vaccines.

  • Research License means a nontransferable, nonexclusive license to make and to use the Licensed Products or the Licensed Processes as defined by the Licensed Patent Rights for purposes of research and not for purposes of commercial manufacture or distribution or in lieu of purchase.
