ANNUAL SICK LEAVE. CASH OUT”/TIME OFF OPTIONS If at the end of a “Qualifying Calendar Period” a full-time “service-critical” employee has not used more than a total of forty (40) hours (part-time “service-critical” employees twenty (20) hours) of sick leave, with or without pay, and or Disability Leave, and in addition has not been absent from work due to either Absence Without Leave (AWOL), leave without pay, or disciplinary suspension, may convert sick leave hours to “cash” or “time off” based on their accrued sick leave balance as shown below. Employees in the groups eligible for the “time off” option shall be allowed to take their days off within ten (10) calendar months following the end of the Qualifying Calendar Period. The days off may be taken in single day increments or all at one time, subject to department/section scheduling.
ANNUAL SICK LEAVE. Conversion: Eligibility for participation on an annual basis is limited to employees who have accumulated 180 days of unused sick leave. To be eligible during the term of this agreement, an employee must have accumulated at least 180 days of unused sick leave as of the effective date of the agreement.
ANNUAL SICK LEAVE means the value of a Participant’s unused Annual Sick Leave Allowance determined in accordance with the tables stated in Article 3, paragraphs A (2) and C of this Plan and credited to his or her Sick Leave Account.
