References in this Schedule to a "Service", except in the definition of "Round Trip", shall include, in relation to any Planned Service, any Empty Services or Ancillary Movements associated with such Planned Service.
The Train Operator shall, in respect of any Service (and its associated Ancillary Movements) that it wishes to operate wholly or partly outside of the Core Operational Period, or wholly or partly on routes which form part of the Network over which passenger services do not operate, pay to Network Rail a Non-Core Operational Charge.
The Train Operator shall, in respect of any Service (and its associated Ancillary Movements) that it wishes to operate wholly or partly outside of the Core Operational Period, or wholly or partly on routes which form part of the CVL over which passenger services do not operate, pay to the CVL IM or its nominee a Non-Core Operational Charge.

For the purposes of paragraph 2.2.1, Ancillary Movements shall include movements: to and from maintenance depots for the purpose of maintaining rolling stock; for driver training purposes; and which do not convey loaded wagons or empty passenger rolling stock; but shall not include movements of rolling stock for the purpose of testing in furtherance of vehicle acceptance procedures.

Save in respect of the Ancillary Movements referred to in paragraph 8.2 Part 2, which may be operated by Specified Equipment of a length of up to 115 metres, train movements shall be operated by Specified Equipment of a length no greater than 57 metres.
The Train Operator has: Firm Rights to make Ancillary Movements of Specified Equipment to the extent necessary or reasonably required to give full effect to the other Firm Rights of the Train Operator; and Contingent Rights to make Ancillary Movements of Specified Equipment to the extent necessary or reasonably required to give full effect to the other Contingent Rights of the Train Operator.
