American Stores means American Stores Company, its directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, predecessors, successors, and assigns; its subsidiaries, divisions, groups, and affiliates controlled by American Stores, and the respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns of each.
