Amalgamation Day definition

Amalgamation Day means the date fixed by the Australian Industrial Relations Commission for the amalgamation between the Federated Clerks Union of Australia, the Australian Municipal, Transport, Energy, Water, Ports, Community and Information Services Union, and the Federated Municipal and Shire Council Employees' Union, to take effect.
Amalgamation Day means the date fixed pursuant to Section 138 of the Industrial Relations Regulation 2000 upon which the amalgamation of the AMACSU and the QPSU is to take effect.
Amalgamation Day means the day the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission fixes as the day the amalgamation of the Queensland Services Industrial Union of Employees and Federated Clerks’ Union of Australia, North Queensland Branch, Union of Employees starts.

Examples of Amalgamation Day in a sentence

  • Provided that each person who on the day immediately preceding the Amalgamation Day was a financial member of the QPSU through the payment of an annual subscription based on a calendar year continues to be a financial member of the Public Service Division of the Union and that this sub-Rule shall continue to apply.

  • On and after the Amalgamation Day there shall be a process to ensure that members transfer to paying subscriptions on a financial year basis.

  • DISCIPLINE AND DISCHARGE‌Discipline and dismissal of staff will follow due process, relevant provisions of collective bargaining agreements and applicable law.

  • A member of the Amalgamated Union on, and from, Amalgamation Day is liable to pay levies and fines in accordance with these rules.

  • The office in the Union that will be occupied on and from the Amalgamation Day is set out in column 3.

  • The Strategic Advisory Reference Group endorsed this document at the meeting on Monday 17 July 2017 and also added to 2 further days as TSIRC holidays, Community Services (Torres Strait) Act Day and Torres Strait Amalgamation Day.

  • As from Amalgamation Day the provisions of this Rule shall apply not withstanding anything else contained in these Rules.

  • On, and from, Amalgamation Day the Vice-Presidents representing the Brisbane City Council, Energy, Local Authorities, North Queensland Clerical and Administrative, Ports and Private Sector, Rail and Social and Community Services Industry Divisions shall be referred to in these rules as “Vice-President (Industry)”.

  • A member of the Amalgamated Union who was on the day preceding Amalgamation Day an unfinancial member of the QSU or the FCUNQ shall remain unfinancial until the member becomes financial in accordance with these rules.

  • For entrants to the Amalgamated Union, who were not members of the QSU or the FCUNQ on the day prior to Amalgamation Day, an amount equivalent to the level of fees of members of the QSU on the day prior to Amalgamation Day.

Related to Amalgamation Day

  • Amalgamation means the amalgamation of the Amalgamating Corporations as contemplated in this Agreement;

  • Amalgamation Application means the amalgamation application that will be filed with the Registrar under subsection 275(1)(a) of the BCBCA in order to give effect to the Amalgamation, substantially in the form attached hereto as Schedule C;

  • Amalgamation Agreement means the Amalgamation Agreement dated as of June 26, 2020 among Cybin, Clarmin and Subco relating to the Amalgamation, as amended on October 21, 2020, a copy of which is available under the Company’s profile on the SEDAR website at www.sedar.com.

  • Certificate of Amalgamation means the certificate of amalgamation to be issued by the Director in respect of the Amalgamation;

  • Articles of Amalgamation means the articles of amalgamation giving effect to the Amalgamation required under the OBCA to be filed with the Director;

  • Consolidation means, with respect to any Person, the consolidation of the accounts of such Person and each of its Subsidiaries if and to the extent the accounts of such Person and each of its Subsidiaries would normally be consolidated with those of such Person, all in accordance with GAAP. The term “Consolidated” shall have a similar meaning.

  • Amalgamating Corporations means both of them;

  • Liquidation Call Right has the meaning ascribed thereto in the Plan of Arrangement.

  • Succession Time means, for any Appointment, (a) the Effective Time, if all Authorizations for such Appointment have been received as of that time or (b) if any Authorization for such Appointment has not been received as of the Effective Time, the time that all Authorizations for such Appointment have been received.

  • Consolidation Loan means a Loan made pursuant to and in full compliance with Section 428C of the Higher Education Act.

  • Amalgamation Resolution means the special resolution of the Shareholders concerning the Amalgamation to be considered at the Meeting, substantially in the form set out in Appendix A to the Circular;

  • Reconstitution Date The date or dates on which any or all of the Mortgage Loans serviced under this Agreement shall be removed from this Agreement and reconstituted as part of a Pass-Through Transfer or a Whole Loan Transfer pursuant to Section 7.01 hereof. On such date or dates, the Mortgage Loans transferred shall cease to be covered by this Agreement and the Servicer's servicing responsibilities shall cease under this Agreement with respect to the related transferred Mortgage Loans.

  • Dissolution Date means, as the case may be:

  • Winding Up Period means the period from the Dissolution Event to the Termination of the Company.

  • Business Combination Date means the date upon which a Business Combination is consummated.

  • Dissolution Event has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1.

  • Step-Out Date means the date that is 20 Business Days after the date of a Step-Out Notice;

  • Early Dissolution Event has the meaning specified in Section 9.2.

  • Scheduled Dissolution Date means, in respect of each Series, the date specified as such in the applicable Final Terms;

  • Demerger means a demerger pursuant to Chapter 17 of the Finnish Companies Act (624/2006 as amended from time to time).

  • Liquidation Period has the meaning set forth in Section 10.6 of this Agreement.

  • Loan Combination Custodial Account means the “Loan Combination Custodial Account” or analogous account established for the Mortgage Loan pursuant to the Lead Securitization Servicing Agreement.

  • Liquidation Date means (a) in the case of an event giving rise to the dissolution of the Partnership of the type described in clauses (a) and (b) of the first sentence of Section 12.2, the date on which the applicable time period during which the holders of Outstanding Units have the right to elect to continue the business of the Partnership has expired without such an election being made, and (b) in the case of any other event giving rise to the dissolution of the Partnership, the date on which such event occurs.

  • Consolidate means that a state may meet statutory and regulatory re- quirements by combining two or more plans into one document and that the state can select the format, submission date, and planning period for the con- solidated plan.

  • Reorganization Event has the meaning specified in Section 5.6(b).
