Alternative Residential Uses definition

Alternative Residential Uses means (a) any residential use which comprises or is planned to comprise any portion of a mixed-use development, and/or (b) real property that is developed or anticipated to be developed for residential uses having or allowing a density equal to or exceeding fifteen (15) units to the acre.

Related to Alternative Residential Uses

  • non-residential use means a building or structure of any kind whatsoever used, designed or intended to be used for other than a residential use;

  • Residential Uses means lands, Buildings or structures or portions thereof used, or designed or intended for use as a home or residence of one or more individuals, and shall include Single Detached Dwelling, Semi-Detached Dwelling, Multiple Dwelling, Apartment Dwelling, and the residential portion of a mixed-use Building or structure;

  • Residential use means the use in or around a home, apartment building, sleeping quarters, and similar facilities or accommodations.

  • Residential User means all dwelling units such as houses, buildings, mobile homes, apartments, permanent multi-family dwellings.

  • Institutional use means use within the lines of, or on property necessary for the operation of buildings such as hospitals, schools, libraries, auditoriums, and office complexes.

  • Non-Residential Property means all Assessor’s Parcels of Developed Property for which a building permit(s) was issued for a non-residential use.

  • Residential purposes means use for dwelling or recreational purposes, or both.

  • Commercial Use means the use to which the material can commercially be put.

  • Residential Zone means a zone earmarked for buildings exclusively designed for human habitation and in no case shall include its use in whole or a part thereof for any other purpose e.g commercial activities, school, institution, shop, office, clinic, beauty parlor, guest house, marriage center, gymnasium, tuition center, club activities, work-shop, store or godown etc. or for the purpose of political, religious and sectarian activities. It includes parks, gardens, play grounds, sector shops and other open spaces located in the area earmarked in the residential zone.

  • Residential Lot means a lot, the use of which is limited by law, covenant,

  • Commercial User means all retail stores, restaurants, office buildings, laundries, and other private business and service establishments.

  • Residential housing or "Residence" means a single-family, owner-occupied dwelling located within the State that qualifies for financing by the Authority within the meaning of the Act, the Rules and Regulations, the Code and related regulations.

  • Residential property means improved property that:-

  • Non-residential means lands, Buildings or portions thereof used, or designed or intended for other than Residential use, including the non- residential portion of a Live-Work Unit;

  • Investor-Owned Residential Loans means Loans, excluding advances made pursuant to Home Equity Loans, that are secured by mortgages on one- to four family residences or stock of cooperative housing associations that are not owner-occupied. These loans can be treated as Restructured Loans on a commercially reasonable basis and can be a restructured under terms separate from the Exhibit 5 standards. Please refer to Exhibit 2b for guidance in Calculation of Loss for Restructured Loans.

  • Maximum allowable residential density means the density allowed under the zoning ordinance and land use element of the general plan, or if a range of density is permitted, means the maximum allowable density for the specific zoning range and land use element of the general plan applicable to the project. Where the density allowed under the zoning ordinance is inconsistent with the density allowed under the land use element of the general plan, the general plan density shall prevail.

  • Investor-Owned Residential Loan means a Loan, excluding advances made pursuant to a Home Equity Loan, that is secured by a mortgage on a one- to four family residences or stock of cooperative housing associations that is not owner-occupied or the borrower’s primary residence.

  • residential land means land used or capable of being used for residential purposes (but does not include land on which there is no residential dwelling).

  • Presidential Primary Election means the election established in Chapter 9, Part

  • Private Business Use means use (directly or indirectly) in a trade or business or activity carried on by any Private Person (other than a Tax-Exempt Organization) other than use as a member of, and on the same basis as, the general public.

  • Residential Unit means a home, apartment, residential condominium unit or mobile home, serving as the principal place of residence.

  • Said Apartment means the specific apartment applied for by the Applicant(s), details of which have been set out in this Application and includes any alternative apartment that may be allotted by the Company in lieu of the Said Apartment.

  • Alcohol Use Disorder means a disease that is characterized by a pattern of pathological use of alcohol with repeated attempts to control its use, and with negative consequences in at least one of the following areas of life: medical, legal, financial, or psycho-social; or

  • Initial Xxxx of Sale means the document, in the form of Attachment B hereto, executed by an authorized officer of SLM ECFC which shall (i) set forth the applicable Initial Loans offered by SLM ECFC and accepted for purchase by the Interim Eligible Lender Trustee for the benefit of Funding, (ii) sell, assign and convey to the Interim Eligible Lender Trustee for the benefit of Funding and its assignees all rights, title and interest of SLM ECFC in the Initial Loans listed on that Xxxx of Sale and (iii) certify that the representations and warranties made by SLM ECFC as set forth in Sections 5 (A) and (B) of these Master Terms are true and correct.
