Alternative Compliance Payment definition

Alternative Compliance Payment or "ACP" means a payment of a certain dollar amount per megawatt hour, which a Retail Electricity Supplier may submit in lieu of supplying the minimum percentage of RECs required under Section 3.3.4 of this Regulation.

  • The amount of payment guarantee (if requested) shall be equal to the lesser of (a) the cumulative product of the NEPOOL-GIS Certificate Quantity and the difference between the NEPOOL-GIS Certificate Purchase Price and the Alternative Compliance Payment Rate for the applicable NEPOOL-GIS Certificate Type and Vintage, or (b) the product of the NEPOOL-GIS Certificate Quantity and the NEPOOL-GIS Certificate Purchase Price, multiplied by 0.3.

  • If Seller is incapable of transferring the corresponding amount of RECs associated with the deficiency in the amount of Seller’s supply for the Delivery Period after using Commercially Reasonable efforts to do so, Seller shall pay the Alternative Compliance Payment for the number of RECs owed to TVA pursuant to this Exhibit.

Alternative Compliance Payment or "ACP" means the compliance rate for failure to meet the renewable portfolio standards specified in Section 16-244c of the Connecticut General Statutes ("General Statutes") or any similar compliance rate established;
