Allianz Life definition

Allianz Life s net amount at risk for each of the ten policy years, during any ten policy year period after the first ten policy years, shall be the prior year's net amount at risk less an amount equal to one-tenth of the difference between (a) the cash value of the life insurance reinsured as of the end of the policy year immediately preceding the period involved, and (b) the cash value of the life insurance reinsured as of the end of the last policy year of the period involved.
Allianz Life refers to Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America; (ii) “Allianz Life of NY” refers to Allianz Life Insurance Company of New York; (iii) “ALFS” refers to Allianz Life Financial Services, LLC; and “we” or “us” refers to the Allianz parties collectively. Allianz Life and Allianz Life of NY issue variable annuity and/or variable life insurance contracts (“Contracts”) through their separate accounts, which invest in Shares; ALFS is a registered broker-dealer and the principal underwriter of the Contracts. The terms and conditions of this Agreement are as follows:

  • Renewable Energy Source means an energy source that is not fossil carbon-based, non- renewable or radioactive, and may include solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, landfill gas, or wave, tidal and thermal ocean technologies, and includes a Certified Renewable Energy Source.
