AK Steel definition

AK Steel means AK Steel Corporation, a Delaware corporation, its successors and assigns.

AK Steel has the meaning set forth in the introductory paragraph of this Agreement.

AK Steel s payment obligations pursuant to this Section 7.7 shall survive the discharge of this Indenture. When the Trustee incurs expenses after the occurrence of a Default specified in subsection (h) or (i) of Section 6.1 hereof with respect to AK Steel, Holding or a Significant Subsidiary, the expenses are intended to constitute expenses of administration under the Bankruptcy Law.

AK Steel has directed the Trustee to execute and deliver this First Supplemental Indenture in accordance with the terms of the Indenture. AK Steel issued the Securities under an Indenture dated as of June 11, 2002 (the "Indenture"), among AK Steel, AK Steel Holding Corporation ("Holding"), as Guarantor, and the Trustee. The terms of the Securities include those stated in the Indenture and those made part of the Indenture by reference to the Trust Indenture Act of 1939 (15 U.S.C. (S)(S) 77aaa-77bbbb) as in effect on the date of the Indenture (the "Act"). Capitalized terms used herein and not defined herein have the meanings ascribed thereto in the Indenture. The Securities are subject to all such terms, and Securityholders are referred to the Indenture and the Act for a statement of those terms. The Securities are senior unsecured obligations of AK Steel limited to $550,000,000 aggregate principal amount (subject to Section 2.2 of the Indenture). AK Steel has solicited consents from Holders (as defined below) of the Notes to certain amendments to the Indenture described in Article II hereof (the "Proposed Amendments"). Pursuant to Section 9.02 of the Indenture, the Holders of at least a majority in principal amount of the outstanding Notes have consented in writing to the Proposed Amendments.

AK Steel means AK Steel International B.V., a UK establishment with registered address at The Business & Technology Centre, Room G28/G29, Bessemer Drive, Stevenage, Herts, SG1 2DX, and registered under number BR023671.

AK Steel means AK Steel Ltd., a United Kingdom limited liability company with registered address at Saffron Ground, Ditchmore Lane Stevenage, Herts SG1 3LJ, and registered under number00932617.
