Airframe definition

Airframe means the Aircraft excluding the Propulsion Systems.
Airframe means the fuselage, booms, nacelles, cowlings, fairings, airfoil surfaces including rotors (but excluding propellers and rotating airfoils of a powerplant) and landing gear of an aircraft and their accessories and controls;
Airframe means the airframe listed in the Estoppel and Acceptance Certificate executed at Delivery together with all Parts relating thereto (except Engines or engines).

  • A319 NEO Aircraft - any or all of the A320 NEO Aircraft converted to firmly ordered A319-100 model aircraft with the New Engine Option, including the A319 NEO Airframe and all components, equipment, parts and accessories installed in or on such aircraft and the applicable A319 NEO Propulsion Systems installed thereon upon Delivery.

  • A319 NEO Airframe - any A319 NEO Aircraft, excluding the A319 NEO Propulsion Systems.

  • An employee at Grade 5 has an Engine and Airframe Category licence for a Dash 8 100/200/300 series aircraft.

More Definitions of Airframe

Airframe shall include any Substitute Airframe or Replacement Airframe that may from time to time be substituted for the Airframe pursuant to Section 7.04 or Section 7.05, respectively, of the Indenture. At such time as a Substitute Airframe or Replacement Airframe shall be so substituted and the Airframe for which such substitution is made shall be released from the Lien of the Indenture, such replaced Airframe shall cease to be an Airframe under the Indenture.
Airframe means (a) the aircraft (excluding Engines or engines from time to time installed thereon) manufactured by Airframe Manufacturer and identified by Airframe Manufacturer’s model number, United States registration number and Airframe Manufacturer’s serial number set forth in the initial Trust Indenture Supplement and any Replacement Airframe and (b) any and all Parts incorporated or installed in or attached or appurtenant to such airframe, and any and all Parts removed from such airframe, unless the Lien of the Trust Indenture shall not be applicable to such Parts in accordance with Section 4.04 of the Trust Indenture. Upon substitution of a Replacement Airframe under and in accordance with the Trust Indenture, such Replacement Airframe shall become subject to the Trust Indenture and shall be the “Airframe” for all purposes of the Trust Indenture and the other Operative Agreements and thereupon the Airframe for which the substitution is made shall no longer be subject to the Trust Indenture, and such replaced Airframe shall cease to be the “Airframe.”
Airframe means the Airframe described in Schedule 1 attached hereto and made a part hereof, as the same may be amended from time to time as set forth below, together with any and all Parts (including, but not limited to, landing gear and auxiliary power units, but excluding Engines or engines) so long as such Parts shall be either incorporated or installed in or attached to the Airframe.
Airframe means, individually, each of the airframes described on Schedule I hereto, as supplemented by any Collateral Supplement or Grantor Supplement.
Airframe means (a) the Boeing 737-900ER (generic manufacturer and model Boeing 737-900) aircraft (except (i) the Engines or engines from time to time installed thereon and any and all Parts related to such Engine or engines and (ii) Excluded Equipment) specified on Annex A to the Indenture Supplement originally executed and delivered under the Indenture and (b) any and all related Parts. The term “Airframe” includes any Substitute Airframe or Replacement Airframe that is substituted for the Airframe pursuant to Section 7.04 or Section 7.05, respectively, of the Indenture. At such time as any Substitute Airframe or Replacement Airframe is so substituted and the Airframe for which such substitution is made is released from the Lien of the Indenture, such replaced Airframe shall cease to be an Airframe under the Indenture.
Airframe has the meaning specified in Section 1 hereof.
