Air Operations Area definition

Air Operations Area. (AOA) shall mean any area of the Airport used or intended to be used for landing, takeoff or the surface maneuvering of aircraft.
Air Operations Area means all areas within the airport perimeter fence used or intended to be used for the movement of aircraft, including, but not limited to, runways, taxiways, ramps, and aprons.
Air Operations Area and “AOA” shall be interchangeable terms and both terms shall mean any area of the Airport used or intended to be used for landing, taking off, or surface maneuvering of aircraft, including the tug drive and all other such areas shown on Exhibit A or as amended by the Executive Director in accordance with the terms hereof, within that portion of the Airport which is enclosed by fencing, walls, or other barriers and to which access is controlled through designated entry points, but excluding all exclusive leasehold areas.

  • Tenant shall have entrances and gates to the Air Operations Area and shall execute, in connection with this Lease Agreement, an Airport Security Agreement as required by the Authority in accordance with TSA regulations, Title 49 CFR Part 1542, which Airport Security Agreement requires Tenant to control and regulate any doors, openings or entrances to the Air Operations Area.

  • Portions of the Air Operations Area designated and made available, temporarily or permanently, by the Authority for the loading and unloading of cargo or passengers on and off Aircraft, and the storage of Aircraft.

  • To insure compliance with FAR Part 139, only Vehicles registered with Airport Operations or vehicles of tenants engaged in aviation activities that are clearly marked with tenant’s name or logo shall be allowed to operate in the Air Operations Area of the Airport.

  • Access to the Air Operations Area of the Airport is strictly prohibited.

  • In conjunction with AIRLINE’s operations at Airport, reasonable access shall be made available for both persons and vehicles to AIRLINE’s aircraft parked in designated parking areas via Terminal Complex doors, field access gates, passenger loading bridges, and the ramp gates to the Security Identification Display Area (“SIDA”), Air Operations Area (“AOA”), or other defined security area.

Air Operations Area means those portions of the Airport from time to time provided and made available by the LANDLORD for aircraft and related operations and includes runways, taxiways, ramps, aprons, parking spaces, and areas directly associated therewith which are not exclusively leased areas of the TENANT or any other tenant on the Airport.
Air Operations Area means any portion of the Airport designed and used for landing, taking off, or surface maneuvering of airplanes.
Air Operations Area means a portion of an aerodrome designed and used for landing, take-off or surface maneuvering of aircraft;
Air Operations Area means all runways, taxiways, extended safety areas, ramps, and parking areas utilized for the movement of aircraft.
Air Operations Area means a portion of an airport designed and used for landing, take-off or surface manoeuvring of aircraft;
Air Operations Area means those portions of the Airport from time to time provided and made available by the Lessor for aircraft and related operations and includes runways, taxiways, ramps, aprons, parking spaces, and areas directly associated therewith which are not exclusively leased areas of the Lessee or any other tenant on the Airport. The Lessee recognizes that other tenants now and hereafter may occupy other portions of the Airport, and that such other tenants shall have the right to use the ramps and driveways serving their areas and other areas not under an exclusive lease, and the Lessee shall conduct its operations in such a manner as to not impede access, interfere with, or disrupt the business of and quiet enjoyment of other tenants.. The Lessor reserves the right to grant, or to permit other parties the right, to use any portion of the Airport except that described in Lessee’s Premises.
Air Operations Area. (“AOA”) shall mean that portion of the Airport, specified in the Airport Security Program, in which security measures specified in 49 CFR 1500, et seq., and Safety Directive 406.2, as may be amended from time to and as incorporated herein by this reference, are in effect and enforced. This area includes all Movement Areas, Ramps, and safety areas for use by Aircraft regulated under 49 CFR Parts 1544 or 1546, and any adjacent areas (including general aviation areas) that are not separated by adequate security systems, measures, or procedures, and includes any area of the Airport used or intended to be used by Aircraft for landing, takeoff or surface maneuvering.
