Affected Class definition

Affected Class has the meaning specified in Section 2.24(a).

Affected Class. Any Class of Secured Notes that, as a result of the occurrence of (and due to) a Tax Event, has not received 100% of the aggregate amount of principal and interest that would otherwise be due and payable to such Class on any Payment Date.

Affected Class shall have the meaning assigned to such term in Section 9.20(a).

Examples of Affected Class in a sentence

• The obligations of the Issuer to pay any amounts due and payable in respect of a Series of Notes and to the other Programme Parties and Transaction Parties at any time in respect of a Series shall be limited to the proceeds available out of the Mortgaged Property in respect of such Series at such time to make such payments in accordance with Master Condition 15 (Application of Available Proceeds or Affected Class Collateral Proceeds).

• Permitted Amendments shall become effective only with respect to the Loans and Commitments of the Lenders of the Affected Class that accept the applicable Loan Modification Offer (such Lenders, the “Accepting Lenders”) and, in the case of any Accepting Lender, only with respect to such Lender’s Loans and Commitments of such Affected Class as to which such Lender’s acceptance has been made.

• With effect from the date on which any valid Enforcement Notice is effectively delivered by the Trustee following the occurrence of an Enforcement Event, the Trustee shall hold the Available Proceeds received by it under the Trust Deed on trust to apply them in the manner specified in Master Condition 15 ( Application of Available Proceeds or Affected Class Collateral Proceeds).
