Advisor Fund definition

Advisor Fund means an investment company, a general or limited partnership, a limited liability company or other pooled investment vehicle in which the Partnership or the Master Partnership has invested and that is advised by an Advisor; whether or not, in each case, the entity is registered under the 1940 Act, and includes the Master Partnership and Advisor Funds that may be formed by the Partnership.
Advisor Fund means an investment company, a general or limited partnership, a limited liability company or other pooled investment vehicle in which the Partnership has invested and that is advised by an Advisor, whether or not, in each case, the entity is registered under the 1940 Act, and whether or not, in each case, the entity is formed by the Partnership.
Advisor Fund has the meaning specified in the preamble to this Agreement.

Examples of Advisor Fund in a sentence

  • Institutional Class: Shares of Institutional Class may be exchanged for shares of (i) any other Fidelity Advisor Fund: Institutional Class; and (ii) any Fidelity Retail Fund offering an exchange privilege to other Fidelity Retail Funds.

  • Class C: Shares of Class C may be exchanged for shares of (i) any other Fidelity Advisor Fund: Class C; and (ii) Treasury Fund - Advisor C Class.

  • Class B: Shares of Class B may be exchanged for shares of (i) any other Fidelity Advisor Fund: Class B; and (ii) Treasury Fund - Advisor B Class.

  • Class A: Shares of Class A may be exchanged for shares of (i) any other Fidelity Advisor Fund: Class A; (ii) Treasury Fund - Daily Money Class; (iii) Prime Fund - Daily Money Class; and (iv) Tax-Exempt Fund - Daily Money Class.

  • For purposes of this Agreement, the Sub-Advisor shall be deemed an independent contractor and shall, except as expressly provided or authorized by written Agreement with the Advisor, Fund, or Trust, have no authority to act for or represent the Trust in any way or otherwise be deemed an agent of the Trust or the Fund.

  • A Retail Class: A retail class of a Fidelity Advisor Fund or a Fidelity Retail Fund may be exchanged for (i) shares of any Fidelity Retail Fund or class offering an exchange privilege to other Fidelity Retail Funds or classes, or (ii) if held through a Retirement Plan, shares of any class of a Fidelity Fund available through an investor's Retirement Plan.

  • Class I: Shares of Class I may be exchanged for shares of (i) any other Fidelity Advisor Fund: Class I; (ii) any Fidelity Retail Fund offering an exchange privilege to other Fidelity Retail Funds; and (iii) subject to any applicable sales load, the same Fidelity Advisor Fund: Class A, if no longer eligible for Class I, or Class Z.

  • Class A: Shares of Class A may be exchanged for shares of (i) any other Fidelity Advisor Fund: Class A; (ii) Daily Money Class shares of any other Fidelity Fund; and (iii) the same Fidelity Advisor Fund: Class Z or Class I.

Related to Advisor Fund

  • Sub-Fund means a segregated pool of assets and liabilities into which the Trust Fund is divided, established under the Trust Deed and the relevant supplemental deed as a separate trust as described in the relevant Appendix.

  • Fund Adviser means any entity that acts as a manager, adviser or sub-adviser to a Legg Mason Fund.

  • Investment Fund has the same meaning as in National Instrument 81-106 Investment Fund Continuous Disclosure;

  • Program fund means the program fund established under section 12D.4.

  • Pooled Fund means any pooled fund established and maintained by the Partners as a pooled fund in accordance with the Regulations Pooled Fund Manager means such officer of the Host Partner which includes a Section 113 Officer for the relevant Pooled Fund established under an Individual Scheme as is nominated by the Host Partner from time to time to manage the Pooled Fund in accordance with Clause [10]. Provider means a provider of any Services commissioned under the arrangements set out in this Agreement.

  • Advisory Group has the meaning set forth in Section 9.14(c).

  • Operating Advisor Fee With respect to any Mortgage Loan (or any successor REO Mortgage Loan with respect thereto) and any Distribution Date, an amount accrued during the related Interest Accrual Period at the applicable Operating Advisor Fee Rate on, in the case of the initial Distribution Date, the Cut-Off Date Balance of such Mortgage Loan and, in the case of any subsequent Distribution Date, the Stated Principal Balance of such Mortgage Loan as of the close of business on the Distribution Date in the related Interest Accrual Period; provided that such amounts shall be computed for the same period and on the same interest accrual basis respecting which any related interest payment due or deemed due on the related Mortgage Loan is computed and shall be prorated for partial periods. Such fee shall be in addition to, and not in lieu of, any other fee or other sum payable to the Operating Advisor under this Agreement. For the avoidance of doubt, the Operating Advisor Fee shall be payable from the Lower-Tier REMIC.

  • Managed Fund means those Funds, individually and collectively, for which the Portfolio Manager makes buy and sell decisions.

  • New Fund means each of the series portfolios of the Trust, one of which shall correspond to one of the Current Funds as shown on Schedule A.

  • Advisor or “ADVISORS” means the Person or Persons, if any, appointed, employed or contracted with by the Company pursuant to Section 8.1 hereof and responsible for directing or performing the day-to-day business affairs of the Company, including any Person to whom the Advisor subcontracts all or substantially all of such functions.

  • Related Fund means, with respect to any Lender that is an investment fund, any other investment fund that invests in commercial loans and that is managed or advised by the same investment advisor as such Lender or by an Affiliate of such investment advisor.

  • Investment Vehicle means a corporation, partnership, limited partnership, limited liability company, association, or other entity, either domestic or foreign, managed by an external manager in which a board is the majority investor and that is organized in order to invest with, or retain the investment management services of, other external managers.

  • Principal Funds With respect to the Mortgage Loans and any Distribution Date, the sum, without duplication, of (1) the scheduled principal due during the related Due Period and received before the related Servicer Remittance Date or advanced on or before the related Servicer Remittance Date, (2) prepayments in full collected in the related Prepayment Period, (3) the Stated Principal Balance of each Mortgage Loan that was purchased by the Depositor during the related Prepayment Period or, in the case of a purchase pursuant to Section 9.01, on the Business Day prior to such Distribution Date, (4) the amount, if any, by which the aggregate unpaid principal balance of any Replacement Mortgage Loan is less than the aggregate unpaid principal of the related Deleted Mortgage Loans delivered by the Sponsor in connection with a substitution of a Mortgage Loan pursuant to Section 2.03(c), (5) all Liquidation Proceeds collected during the related Prepayment Period (to the extent such Liquidation Proceeds relate to principal and represent payment in full), (6) all Subsequent Recoveries received during the related Due Period and (7) all other collections and recoveries in respect of principal during the related Due Period, less (A) all Non-Recoverable Advances relating to principal with respect to the Mortgage Loans and (B) other amounts reimbursable (including without limitation indemnity payments) to the Servicer and the Trustee pursuant to this Agreement allocable to principal.

  • Mutual Fund or “Fund” or “UTIMF” means UTI Mutual Fund, a Trust under the Indian Trust Act, 1882 registered with SEBI under registration number MF/048/03/01 dated January 14, 2003.

  • Sub-Investment Manager means for each Fund any sub-investment manager or sub-investment managers indicated in the relevant Supplement and any sub-investment manager that the relevant Investment Manager may appoint in the future to manage the Fund, provided that disclosure of any such sub-investment managers appointed by the Investment Managers will be provided to Shareholders upon request and details thereof will be disclosed in the periodic reports to Shareholders, and provided further that each Sub-Investment Manager may appoint a sub-investment manager/advisor to manage/advise any portion of the assets of any Fund to which it has been appointed Sub-Investment Manager in accordance with the requirements of the Central Bank Rules;

  • Alternative Investment Vehicle means an entity created in accordance with the Operative Documents of a Borrower to make investments and that has the right to call on Capital Commitments directly from Investors.

  • Investment Person means all Portfolio Managers of Loomis Sayles and other Advisory Persons who assist the Portfolio Managers in making and implementing investment decisions for an Investment Company or other client of Loomis Sayles, including, but not limited to, designated Research Analysts and traders of Loomis Sayles. A person is considered an Investment Person only as to those client accounts or types of client accounts as to which he or she is designated by Personal Trading Compliance or the Chief Compliance Officer as such. As to other accounts, he or she is simply an Access Person.

  • Blackstone means collectively, The Blackstone Group L.P., a Delaware limited partnership, and any Affiliate thereof (excluding any natural persons and any portfolio companies of any Blackstone-sponsored fund).

  • Hedge Fund means an Alternative Investment Fund which employs diverse or complex trading strategies and invests and trades in securities having diverse risks or complex products including listed and unlisted derivatives;

  • Fund means any Person (other than a natural person) that is (or will be) engaged in making, purchasing, holding or otherwise investing in commercial loans and similar extensions of credit in the ordinary course of its activities.

  • Venture capital fund means a private fund that meets the definition of a venture capital fund in SEC Rule 203(l)-1, 17 C.F.R. § 275.203(l)-1.

  • Investment Advisor means, in relation to a Portfolio, the investment manager or investment advisor of the Portfolio.

  • Mutual Funds means (i) all open-end mutual funds; and (ii) similar pooled investment vehicles established in non-U.S. jurisdictions, such as registered investment trusts in Japan. For purposes of the Code, Mutual Fund does not include shares of open-end money market mutual funds (unless otherwise advised by Compliance).

  • Feeder Fund means a Sub-Fund which invests all or substantially all of its assets in securities which are units or sub-units in a unit trust scheme or participations in a mutual fund or other interests in a collective investment scheme which is managed or advised by the Managers or any Associate of the Managers and whose investment policy is the same or substantially the same as such Sub-Fund.
