Advance Approval definition

Advance Approval. All credits not in a graduate program, in order to be considered for application on the salary schedule, must be approved by the superintendent or his/her designee in writing prior to the taking of the course. Such prior approval requirements shall not apply to courses necessary to achieve the minimum requirements established by the Minnesota State Department of Education as a prerequisite for the individual to possess the proper certification required to fulfill the individual's teaching assignments.
Advance Approval. A request for personal leave must be made in writing to the District Human Resources Director at least three (3) contractual days in advance, except in the case of emergency.
Advance Approval has the meaning ascribed to it in Section 2.3(a).
