Adult day program means any community-based facility

Adult day program means any community-based facility or program that provides care to persons 18 years of age or older in need of personal services, supervision, or assistance essential for sustaining the activities of daily living or for the protection of these individuals on less than a 24-hour basis.

Adult day program means a planned program of activities in a professional care setting designed for older adults or persons with disabilities who require supervision during the day, or those who are isolated and lonely. Adult day care centers enable seniors and persons with disabilities to socialize and enjoy planned activities in a group setting, while still receiving needed health services.
