For purposes of determining overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), during the 44/36 work schedule where any unit member is scheduled to work five (5) consecutive days, totaling more than (40) forty hours, the employee’s work period shall end exactly four (4) hours after the employee commences work on the fifth consecutive day, resulting in a work period of forty (40) hours. For the 7-day/12-hour work schedule, the Administrative Workweek shall consist of seven (7) consecutive calendar days, commencing Saturday and concluding the following Saturday.
