Additional Tier 1 Capital definition

Additional Tier 1 Capital means capital which is treated as Additional Tier 1 capital (or any equivalent or successor term) under CRD IV requirements by the Relevant Regulator for the purposes of the Issuer and the Group;
Additional Tier 1 Capital means, at any time, any item that qualifies as additional tier 1 capital (zusätzliches Kernkapital) under National Regulations at such time.
Additional Tier 1 Capital means, at any time, any or all items constituting additional tier 1 capital within the meaning of the Basel III Document, as implemented and amended pursuant to BIS Regulations applicable at such time;

  • The Bank has the right to cancel coupon payment (subject to the requirement as set out in the terms and conditions of the Additional Tier 1 Capital Securities) and the coupon cancelled shall not be cumulative.

  • In the case of Subordinated Notes or Additional Tier 1 Capital Notes where the Calculation Amount has been adjusted as described in the definition thereof, where the Specified Denomination of a Note is the Original Calculation Amount, the amount of interest payable in respect of such Note shall be the amount (determined in the manner provided above) for the Calculation Amount.

  • Any reinstatement of some or all of the principal amount of all relevant outstanding Additional Tier 1 Capital instruments, where the principal amount of such Additional Tier 1 Capital instruments has been reduced, may not at any time exceed the reinstatement limit applicable to the Issuer and the Group at such time (the “Reinstatement Limit”).

  • To the extent that the principal amount of the Additional Tier 1 Capital Notes has been reinstated as described above, interest shall begin to accrue on the reinstated principal amount of the Additional Tier 1 Capital Notes, and become payable in accordance with these Conditions, as from the date of the relevant reinstatement.


More Definitions of Additional Tier 1 Capital

Additional Tier 1 Capital means additional tier 1 capital for the purposes of the Applicable Banking Regulations;
Additional Tier 1 Capital means capital qualifying as, and approved by the Regulator as, additional tier 1 capital in accordance with the Capital Regulations;

Additional Tier 1 Capital means Additional Tier 1 Capital for the purposes of the Capital Regulations.
Additional Tier 1 Capital means additional Tier 1 capital as defined in the CRR, as amended or replaced;
Additional Tier 1 Capital means Additional Tier 1 capital (or any equivalent or successor term) for the purposes of the Relevant Rules;
