Actual mass of the vehicle definition

Actual mass of the vehicle means the mass in running order plus the mass of the fitted optional equipment to an individual vehicle.
Actual mass of the vehicle means the actual mass of the vehicle measured in the verification testing procedure in running order with the fuel storage of the vehicle filled up to at least 50 % fuel of its maximum capacity and without superstructure and payload;

For purposes of this section, actual repair costs shall only include labor and parts for actual damage to the suspension, motor, transmission, frame or unibody and designated structural components;

  • Junk vehicle means a vehicle of any age that is damaged or defective in any one or combination of any of the following ways that either makes the vehicle immediately inoperable, or would prohibit the vehicle from being operated in a reasonably safe manner upon the public streets and highways under its own power if self-propelled, or while being towed or pushed, if not self-propelled:

  • Off-highway vehicle means the same as that term is defined in Section 41-22-2.

  • Not off-vehicle charging hybrid electric vehicle (NOVC-HEV) means a hybrid electric vehicle that cannot be charged from an external source.

  • Off-vehicle charging hybrid electric vehicle (OVC-HEV) means a hybrid electric vehicle that can be charged from an external source.

  • base vehicle means any vehicle which is used at the initial stage of a multi-stage type-approval process;

  • Unmanned Aerial Vehicle ("UAV") (9) means any aircraft capable of initiating flight and sustaining controlled flight and navigation without any human presence on board.

  • Receivables Related Assets means accounts receivable, instruments, chattel paper, obligations, general intangibles and other similar assets, in each case relating to receivables subject to the Permitted Receivables Facility, including interests in merchandise or goods, the sale or lease of which gave rise to such receivables, related contractual rights, guaranties, insurance proceeds, collections and proceeds of all of the foregoing.

  • Alternative fuel vehicle means a vehicle designed to be capable of running on at least one type of fuel that is either gaseous at atmospheric temperature and pressure, or substantially non-mineral oil derived.

  • Permitted Receivables Related Assets means any other assets that are customarily transferred, sold and/or pledged or in respect of which security interests are customarily granted in connection with asset securitization transactions involving receivables similar to Receivables and any collections or proceeds of any of the foregoing (including, without limitation, lock-boxes, deposit accounts, records in respect of Receivables and collections in respect of Receivables).

  • Nonroad Vehicle means a vehicle that is powered by a Nonroad Engine, fifty horsepower and greater, and that is not a Motor Vehicle or a vehicle used solely for competition, which shall include, but not be limited to, excavators, backhoes, cranes, compressors, generators, bulldozers and similar equipment, except that this terms shall not apply to horticultural maintenance vehicles used for landscaping purposes that are powered by a Nonroad Engine of sixty-five horsepower or less and that are not used in any construction program or project.

  • Gross vehicle mass or "maximum mass" means the technically permissible maximum laden mass as declared by the manufacturer.

  • Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) means a vehicle that is similar to a Hybrid but is equipped with a larger, more advanced battery that allows the vehicle to be plugged in and recharged in addition to refueling with gasoline. This larger battery allows the car to be driven on a combination of electric and gasoline fuels.

  • Mobility enhancing equipment means equipment, other than durable medical equipment or a motor vehicle or equipment on a motor vehicle normally provided by a motor vehicle manufacturer, dispensed pursuant to a prescription, including repair or replacement parts for that equipment, that is all of the following:

  • All-terrain type I vehicle means the same as that term is defined in Section 41-22-2.

  • Unladen vehicle means a vehicle without a driver, or passenger, and unladen, but with its fuel tank full and its normal complement of tools;

  • Heavy Vehicle has the meaning given to it in the HNVL.

  • Light vehicle means a motor vehicle commonly referred to as an automobile, van, sport utility
