Actual Improvement definition

Actual Improvement means the reduction of the baseline pollution load resulting from the implementation of the approved abatement plan: except that a reduction of the baseline pollution load achieved by water treatment may not be considered as actual improvement.
Actual Improvement means the annual change as determined under Section 4(b)(1) of the Plan, which amounts can be positive or negative.
Actual Improvement means the annual change in SVA, as determined under Section V(B)(1) of the Plan, which can be positive or negative.

Examples of Actual Improvement in a sentence

  • If the Actual Improvement equals the Target SVA Improvement, the Declared Bonus Multiple shall equal one (1).

  • The Actual Improvement in SVA for a Plan Year shall be determined by subtracting the SVA for the immediately preceding Plan Year (or such other amount as determined by the Committee) from the SVA for the Plan Year.

  • If the Actual Improvement equals the Expected Improvement, the EVA Bonus Factor shall equal one (1).

  • The Actual Improvement in EVA for a Plan Year shall be determined by adding any EVA Carryover Amount (either positive or negative) to the EVA as of the end of Plan Year and then subtracting from it the EVA as of the beginning of the Plan Year.

  • The Committee shall determine the Company’s annual SVA as of the end of the Plan Year and the resulting Actual Improvement.

  • If the Actual Improvement is less than the Target SVA Improvement, the Declared Bonus Multiple shall equal the Shortfall (expressed as a negative number) divided by the Bonus Interval, plus one (1); provided, however, that if the Declared Bonus Multiple is less than 0, then it shall still be deemed to be 0 for the purposes of this Plan and the Guidelines.

  • If the Actual Improvement exceeds the Target SVA Improvement, the Declared Bonus Multiple shall equal the Excess Improvement divided by the Bonus Interval, plus one (1); provided, however, that if the Declared Bonus Multiple is greater than 2.0, then it shall still be deemed to be 2.0 for the purposes of this Plan and the Guidelines.

  • If the Actual Improvement is less than the Expected Improvement, the EVA Bonus Factor shall equal (a) the Shortfall (expressed as a negative number) divided by the Bonus Interval, plus (b) one (1).

  • If the Actual Improvement exceeds the Expected Improvement, the EVA Bonus Factor shall equal (a) the Excess Improvement divided by the Bonus Interval, plus (b) one (1).

  • The Committee shall approve the calculation of EVA and Actual Improvement.


More Definitions of Actual Improvement

Actual Improvement means, for the purposes of section 4.6, the reduction of the baseline pollution load resulting from the implementation of the approved abatement plan; except that any reduction of the baseline pollution load achieved by water treatment may not be considered as actual improvement. Actual Improvement means the annual change in the Company’s EVA as determined under subsection (a)(ii)(B) of Section 2, which amounts can be positive or negative.

Related to Actual Improvement

  • Capital Improvement Project means the acquisition, construction, reconstruction, improvement, planning and equipping of roads and bridges, appurtenances to roads and bridges to enhance the safety of animal-drawn vehicles, pedestrians, and bicycles, wastewater treatment facilities, water supply systems, solid waste disposal facilities, and storm water and sanitary collection, storage and treatment facilities including real property, interests in real property, facilities, and equipment related or incidental to those facilities.

  • Tenant Improvement Work means the construction of the Tenant Improvements, together with any related work (including demolition) that is necessary to construct the Tenant Improvements.

  • Capital Improvement or "Capital Improvement Project" means the acquisition, construction, reconstruction, improvement, planning and equipping of roads and bridges, wastewater treatment facilities, water supply systems, solid waste disposal facilities, and storm water and sanitary collection, storage and treatment facilities of Local Subdivisions, including real property, interests in real property, and facilities and equipment of Local Subdivisions related or incidental thereto.

  • Substantial improvement means any combination of repairs, reconstruction, rehabilitation, addition, or other improvement of a structure, taking place during any one-year period for which the cost equals or exceeds 50 percent of the market value of the structure before the “start of construction” of the improvement. This term includes structures which have incurred “substantial damage”, regardless of the actual repair work performed. The term does not, however, include either:

  • Tenant Improvements Defined in Exhibit B, if any.

  • Maximum medical improvement means that no further material improvement would reasonably be expected from medical treatment or the passage of time;

  • Tenant Improvement Allowance in the maximum amount of $200.00 per rentable square foot in the Premises, which is included in the Base Rent set forth in the Lease; and

  • Capital Improvements mean the purchase, renovation, rehabilitation, or construction of permanent land, buildings, structures, equipment and furnishings used directly for or in the Project, and any goods or services for the Project that are purchased and capitalized under GAAP, including any organizational costs and research and development costs incurred in Illinois. Capitalized lease costs for land, buildings, structures or equipment shall be included in “Capital Improvements” only if the lease term, including any extensions or options to extend, equals or exceeds the term of this Agreement, and provided that such lease costs are valued at their present value using the corporate interest rate prevailing at the time the Company filed its Application with the Department.

  • Needs Improvement the Educator’s performance on a standard or overall is below the requirements of a standard or overall, but is not considered to be unsatisfactory at this time. Improvement is necessary and expected.  Unsatisfactory: the Educator’s performance on a standard or overall has not significantly improved following a rating of needs improvement, or the Educator’s performance is consistently below the requirements of a standard or overall and is considered inadequate, or both.

  • Construction Work means any work in connection with⎯

  • Base Building Work means the base building work for the Building as described in this Manual.

  • Tenant’s Work means all improvements, alterations, fixture, equipment, and signage installation, and furniture placement necessary or appropriate for the conduct of the Permitted Use, including all work described as Tenant’s Work on Exhibit D, attached (the “Work Letter”).

  • Project Improvements means site improvements and facilities that are:

  • Landlord’s Work means the work of constructing the Tenant Improvements.

  • Landlord Work means the work, if any, that Landlord is obligated to perform in the Premises pursuant to a separate agreement (the “Work Letter”), if any, attached to this Lease as Exhibit C.

  • Excavation work means the making of any man-made cavity, trench, pit or depression formed by cutting, digging or scooping;

  • Construction Works means all works and things necessary to complete the Project in accordance with this Agreement;

  • Construction project means the same as that term is defined in Section 38-1a-102.

  • Construction Plant means appliances, machinery with necessary supply to up keep and maintenance of the works or temporary works but dose not include materials or other things intended to form part of the permanent work.

  • Improvement Costs means any additional expenditure on a fixed asset that materially increases the capacity of the asset or materially improves its functioning or represents more than 10% of the initial depreciation base of the asset;

  • Improvement Plan means the plan required by the Authority from the Supplier which shall detail how the Supplier will improve the provision of the Goods and/or Services pursuant to Clause 29.1.1 (Authority Remedies);

  • Improvement completion assurance means a surety bond, letter of credit,

  • Constructional Plant means all appliances or things whatever nature required in or about the execution, completion or maintenance of the works or temporary works (as hereinafter defined) but does not include materials or other things intended to form or forming part of the permanent work or temporary housing, hutting, office, stores, etc.,

  • Construction Budget means the fully-budgeted costs for the acquisition and construction of a given parcel of real property (including, without limitation, the cost of acquiring such parcel of real property, reserves for construction interest and operating deficits, tenant improvements, leasing commissions, and infrastructure costs) as reasonably determined by the Parent in good faith.

  • Building Work has the meaning given to it in section 6 of the Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (Cth);

  • Base Building shall include the structural portions of the Building, the public restrooms and the Building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and equipment located in the internal core of the Building on the floor or floors on which the Premises are located. Tenant shall promptly provide Landlord with copies of any notices it receives regarding an alleged violation of Law. Tenant shall comply with the rules and regulations of the Building attached as Exhibit E and such other reasonable rules and regulations adopted by Landlord from time to time, including rules and regulations for the performance of Alterations (defined in Section 9).
