Active Operations definition

Active Operations means, after the Lodging Date, all Active Mining Operations and all business, commercial or industrial activities of any kind other than Exploration Operations.
Active Operations means any human activity that is capable of generating, or generates visible fugitive dust, including bulk material storage, handling and processing; earth moving; construction/renovation/demolition activities; and the movement of motorized vehicles on any unpaved roadways and parking areas.
Active Operations means activities capable of generating fugitive dust, including, but not limited to, bulk material handling, earth-moving activities, construction or demolition activities, or vehicular movement on unpaved surfaces associated with construction/demolition activities.

  • Nothing in this Consent Decree shall be interpreted to limit or diminish Settling Companies’ obligations to obtain and comply with any necessary permits for Active Operations or Exploration Operations that Settling Companies conduct after the Lodging Date.

  • EPA and Settling Companies expect that EPA will be conducting substantial response activities throughout the Site for many years to come and that Settling Companies will be conducting Active Operations and Exploration Operations at certain areas within the Site for many years to come.

More Definitions of Active Operations

Active Operations means any activity capable of generating fugitive dust, including but not limited to earth-moving activities, construction/demolition activities, and vehicular movement.
Active Operations means pipelines and related assets set forth on Schedule 1.1 (which Schedule constitutes a map identifying where such pipelines ands assets are located).

Related to Active Operations

  • Inactive business operations means the mere continued holding or renewal of rights to property previously operated for the purpose of generating revenues but not presently deployed for such purpose.

  • Active business operations means all business operations that are not inactive business operations.

  • Restricted business operations means business operations in Sudan that include power production activities, mineral extraction activities, oil-related activities, or the production of military equipment, as those terms are defined in the Sudan Accountability and Divestment Act of 2007 (Pub. L. 110-174). Restricted business operations do not include business operations that the person (as that term is defined in Section 2 of the Sudan Accountability and Divestment Act of 2007) conducting the business can demonstrate—

  • Business operations means engaging in commerce in any form, including by acquiring, developing, maintaining, owning, selling, possessing, leasing, or operating equipment, facilities, personnel, products, services, personal property, real property, or any other apparatus of business or commerce.

  • food business operator means the natural or legal persons responsible for ensuring that the requirements of food law are met within the food business under their control;

  • Joint Operations means those operations and activities carried out by Operator pursuant to this Agreement, the costs of which are chargeable to all Parties.
