Examples of Act of the Oireachtas in a sentence
To apply, petition for or promote any Act of the Oireachtas or other legislation relating directly to the advancement of the Main Object.
To obtain any Act of the Oireachtas or provisional order for enabling the Company to carry any of its objects into effect or for effecting any modification of the Company’s constitution or for any other purpose which may seem expedient and to oppose any proceedings or applications which may seem calculated directly or indirectly to prejudice the Company’s interests.
The Interpretation Act 2005 applies to the interpretation of these Regulations as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

To obtain any Ministerial order or licence or any provisional order or Act of the Oireachtas or Charter for enabling the Company to carry any of its objects into effect, or for effecting any modification of the Company’s constitution, or for any other purpose which may seem expedient, and to oppose any proceedings or applications which may seem calculated directly or indirectly to prejudice the Company’s interests.
To apply for, promote and obtain any Act of the Oireachtas, provisional order or licence of the appropriate Minister, or other authority for enabling the Company to carry any of its objects into effect, or for effecting any modification of the Company’s constitution, or for any other purpose which may seem expedient, and to oppose any proceedings or applications which may seem calculated, directly or indirectly, to prejudice the Company’s interests.

In this Scheme the words and expressions set out below shall have the meanings specified against them unless otherwise specifically provided and any reference to a provision of an Act of the Oireachtas shall include any modification re-enactment or extension of it.
