Accrued time definition

Accrued time means the amount of time that a person is imprisoned or confined.
Accrued time means the hours of duty performed and approved leave taken by employees during a settlement period, and which are in addition to the ordinary working hours and which have not been compensated by the payment of overtime or other similar compensation. Carry Over Time means any accrued time not taken (or debit time accrued) in a settlement period, which will be debited/credited to the next settlement period. Credit Time is the amount of time an employee performs ordinary work and/or obtains credit for a period of approved leave during the spread of hours on an ordinary working day in excess of ordinary working hours. Debit Time is the amount of time less than a standard day an employee performs ordinary work or approved leave taken during the spread of hours on an ordinary day. Director General for the purposes of this arrangement means the Director General of the Queensland Department of Health or approved delegate. Eligible Part-Time Employees – variable working hours can be accessed by relevant part- time employees subject to operational requirements. Examples where operational requirements may prevent the application of these arrangements to part-time employees include where such an employee is engaged to:-
Accrued time is the sum total of an officer’s vacation time, saved vacation time, saved holiday time, compensatory time and/or birthday leave time under this Agreement. Reference to the male gender throughout this Agreement shall include references to the female gender and vice versa.

Examples of Accrued time in a sentence

  • When an employee proceeds on maternity leave there will be no accrual towards Accrued Time Off as prescribed in subclause (1) of Clause 7.

  • An employee who is absent on any form of leave without pay shall not accumulate an entitlement to Accrued Time Off for the period of such leave nor will the employee be entitled to Accrued Time Off whilst on leave without pay.

Payment of Accrued Benefits shall be made promptly in accordance with the Employer's prevailing practice with respect to clauses (i) and (ii) or, with respect to clauses (iii), (iv) and (v), pursuant to the terms of the benefit plan or practice establishing such benefits.

  • Continuation Date means any date on which Borrower continues a LIBOR Advance into another Interest Period.

  • Qualifying Termination means a termination of Executive’s employment (i) by the Company other than for Cause or (ii) by Executive for Good Reason. Termination of Executive’s employment on account of death, Disability or Retirement shall not be treated as a Qualifying Termination.

  • Deferred Retirement Date means, in the case of any Participant who continues in employment after his Normal Retirement Date, the first day of any month following his actual retirement.

  • Regular Part-Time Employee means an employee who is appointed to a regularly scheduled position but works less than full-time. A regular part-time employee is entitled to all benefits outlined in the agreement on a pro rata basis, except where otherwise specified.

  • Stated Termination Date means December 31, 2000.

  • Part-time employment means any employment or combination of one or more employments in a civil division in which an individual works fifty percent (50%) or less of the time prescribed as the standard work week by the governing body or other appropriate authority of the civil division or where the employee earns not more than one-half (1/2) of the rate assigned to the position if the position has been allocated to a graded salary schedule.
