Accrued Benefit Account shall be represented by the bookkeeping entries required to record the Executive's (i) Phantom Contributions plus (ii) accrued interest, equal to the Interest Factor, earned to-date on such amounts. However, neither the existence of such bookkeeping entries nor the Accrued Benefit Account itself shall be deemed to create either a trust of any kind, or a fiduciary relationship between the Bank and the Executive or any Beneficiary.

Accrued Benefit Account means that portion of the Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit which is required to be expensed and accrued under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) by any appropriate method which the Association's Board of Directors may require in the exercise of its sole discretion.

Examples of Accrued Benefit Account in a sentence

  • The annual Contributions (or Phantom Contributions) required to be made by the Bank to the Retirement Income Trust Fund (or recorded by the Bank in the Accrued Benefit Account) have been actuarially determined and are set forth in Exhibit A which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

  • Phantom Contributions shall accrue interest at a rate equal to the Interest Factor, during the Payout Period, until the balance of the Accrued Benefit Account has been fully distributed.

More Definitions of Accrued Benefit Account

Accrued Benefit Account means the sum of all deferred amounts and interest credited to the Director using generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) which are due and owing to the Director or Beneficiaries pursuant to the Joinder Agreement.

Related to Accrued Benefit Account

  • Accrued Benefit means the amount standing in a Participant's Account(s) as of any date derived from both Employer contributions and Employee contributions, if any.

  • Individual retirement account means a trust, custodial arrangement, or annuity under Section 408(a) or (b), Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (26 U.S.C. Section 408 (1986)).

  • Accrued Benefits shall include the following amounts, payable as described herein: (i) all base salary for the time period ending with the Termination Date; (ii) reimbursement for any and all monies advanced in connection with the Executive's employment for reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by the Executive on behalf of the Company and its Affiliates for the time period ending with the Termination Date; (iii) any and all other cash earned through the Termination Date and deferred at the election of the Executive or pursuant to any deferred compensation plan then in effect; (iv) notwithstanding any provision of any bonus or incentive compensation plan applicable to the Executive, a lump sum amount, in cash, equal to the sum of (A) any bonus or incentive compensation that has been allocated or awarded to the Executive for a fiscal year or other measuring period under the plan that ends prior to the Termination Date but has not yet been paid (pursuant to Section 5(f) or otherwise) and (B) a pro rata portion to the Termination Date of the aggregate value of all contingent bonus or incentive compensation awards to the Executive for all uncompleted periods under the plan calculated as to each such award as if the Goals with respect to such bonus or incentive compensation award had been attained; and (v) all other payments and benefits to which the Executive (or in the event of the Executive's death, the Executive's surviving spouse or other beneficiary) may be entitled as compensatory fringe benefits or under the terms of any benefit plan of the Employer, including severance payments under the Employer's severance policies and practices in the form most favorable to the Executive that were in effect at any time during the 180-day period prior to the Effective Date. Payment of Accrued Benefits shall be made promptly in accordance with the Employer's prevailing practice with respect to clauses (i) and (ii) or, with respect to clauses (iii), (iv) and (v), pursuant to the terms of the benefit plan or practice establishing such benefits.

  • Deferred Compensation Account means the account maintained with respect to each Participant under the Plan. The Deferred Compensation Account shall be credited with Participant Deferral Credits and Employer Credits, credited or debited for deemed investment gains or losses, and adjusted for payments in accordance with the rules and elections in effect under Section 8. The Deferred Compensation Account of a Participant shall include any In-Service or Education Account of the Participant, if applicable.

  • Plan Benefit means the benefit payable to a Participant as calculated in Article V.

  • Deferral Account means the Company's accounting of the Director's accumulated Deferrals plus accrued interest.

  • Matching Account means the account maintained on the books of the Employer for the purpose of accounting for the Matching Amount and for the amount of investment return credited thereto for each Participant pursuant to Article V.

  • Employer Contribution Account means, for any Participant, the account established by the Administrator or Trustee to which Employer Contributions made under Section 3.5 for the Participant's benefit are credited.

  • Termination Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 7.

  • Matching Contribution Account means the separate, individual account established on behalf of a Participant to which the Matching Contributions made on such Participant's behalf are credited, together with all earnings and appreciation thereon, and against which are charged any withdrawals, loans and other distributions made from such account and any losses, depreciation or expenses allocable to amounts credited to such account.

  • Company Matching Account means (i) the sum of all of a Participant's Annual Company Matching Amounts, plus (ii) amounts credited in accordance with all the applicable crediting provisions of this Plan that relate to the Participant's Company Matching Account, less (iii) all distributions made to the Participant or his or her Beneficiary pursuant to this Plan that relate to the Participant's Company Matching Account.

  • Normal Retirement Benefit means an annual benefit payment in the amount of Sixty-Six Thousand Three Hundred and Seventy-Three Dollars ($66,373.00) for a period of fifteen (15) years.

  • Participant’s Account means an account maintained for each Participant’s participation in DSUs and/or RSUs under the Plan;

The Account Balance shall be a bookkeeping entry only and shall be utilized solely as a device for the measurement and determination of the amounts to be paid to a Participant, or his or her designated Beneficiary, pursuant to this Plan.

  • Employee Account means any brokerage account or unit investment trust account in which the Van Kampen Employee has any direct or indirect beneficial ownership.

  • Company Contribution Account means (i) the sum of the Participant’s Company Contribution Amounts, plus (ii) amounts credited or debited to the Participant’s Company Contribution Account in accordance with this Plan, less (iii) all distributions made to the Participant or his or her Beneficiary pursuant to this Plan that relate to the Participant’s Company Contribution Account.

  • Net death benefit means the amount of the life insurance policy or certificate to be settled less any outstanding debts or liens.
