Accretion Rate definition

Accretion Rate means that rate which, when applied to the Denominational Amount of a Capital Appreciation Bond or a Convertible Capital Appreciation Bond, and compounded semiannually on each February 1 and August 1, commencing August 1, 2015 (unless otherwise provided for in the Purchase Contract), produces the Maturity Value on the maturity date (with respect to Capital Appreciation Bonds) and the Conversion Value on the Conversion Date (with respect to Convertible Capital Appreciation Bonds).
Accretion Rate means, unless otherwise provided by the Purchase Contract, that rate which, when applied to the Denominational Amount of a Capital Appreciation Bond or a Convertible Capital Appreciation Bond, and compounded semiannually on each February 1 and August 1 (commencing on February 1, 2013), produces the Maturity Value on the maturity date, in the case of a Capital Appreciation Bond, and the Conversion Value on the Conversion Date, in the case of a Convertible Capital Appreciation Bond.
Accretion Rate means, unless otherwise provided by the Purchase Contract, that rate which, when applied to the Denominational Amount of any Capital Appreciation Bond and compounded semiannually on each February 1 and August 1 (commencing August 1, 2009), produces the Accreted Value on the maturity date.

More Definitions of Accretion Rate

Accretion Rate means the rate which, when applied to the principal amount of any Capital Appreciation Bond and compounded semiannually on each Compounding Date, produces the Maturity Value of such Capital Appreciation Bond on the maturity date thereof.
Accretion Rate shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3(a) hereof.
