Access to records definition

Access to records means the general right of the public to examine and copy records. In subrule 11.2(9), it also means the right of the subject of a confidential record to authorize its release, in writing, to a named third party.
Access to records means and INCLUDES the right to inspect or have copies of RECORDS.
Access to records means that any representative of the Cabinet for Families and Children actively involved in the conduct of an abuse, neglect, or exploitation investigation under this chapter shall be allowed access to the medical, mental, health, and financial records of the adult that are in the possession of any individual, hospital, firm, corporation or other facility, if necessary to complete the investigation mandated in this chapter; and

More Definitions of Access to records

Access to records. The SCSC or any duly authorized representatives, shall have access to any books, documents, papers, and records of the Contractor which are directly pertinent to this Contract at any time during normal business hours for the term of this Contract and/or three (3) years thereafter for the purpose of making an audit, examination, excerpts, and transcriptions. Copyright: Any papers, reports, graphs, forms, guides, evaluations, spreadsheets, databases and other material which are produced under or as a result of this Contract are to be deemed a "work made for hire", as such term is defined in the Copyright laws of the United States with all interests vesting in such work product to the State of Georgia on through the SCSC. To the extent authorized by law, this agreement provides the Contractor a perpetual and irrevocable license to allow its use of any models, code, programs, or methodology developed under this Contract.
Access to records. The Reinsurer shall have the right to examine, at any reasonable time, all papers, books, accounts, documents and other records of the Company or any agent or employee of the Company including any claims adjuster or any other person acting on behalf of the Company relating to the business covered hereunder. Upon the Reinsurer's request, the Company shall supply the Reinsurer, at the Reinsurer's expense, with copies of the whole or any part of such papers, books, accounts, documents and other records relating to the business covered hereunder. The Reinsurer's right of inspection under this Access to Records section shall continue to exist after termination of this Agreement as long as one of the parties hereto has a claim against any other arising from this Agreement.
Access to records. The PTE and prime sponsor and any of their authorized representatives, must have the right of access to any documents, papers, or other records of the non-Federal entity which are pertinent to the Federal award, in order to make audits, examinations, excerpts, and transcripts. The right also includes timely and reasonable access to the non-Federal entity's personnel for the purpose of interview and discussion related to such documents.
Access to records is replaced in its entirety as follows:
Access to records. Each party hereto agrees to maintain all supporting documentation and required records including an acceptable form of personnel time and effort for validation of costs for five years in accordance with generally accepted audit standards (GAAP/GAS).
Access to records. Until the expiration of seven (7) years after the furnishing of services pursuant to this Agreement, Resident agrees to make available, upon written request to the Secretary of Health and Human Services, or upon request to the Comptroller General of the United States, or to any of their duly authorized representatives, this Agreement, and books, documents and records of Resident that are necessary to certify the extent of any costs of the Hospital arising from this Agreement. Further, if Resident carries out any of the duties arising from this Agreement, through a subcontract, with a value or cost of $10,000 or more over a twelve (12) month period, with a related organization, such subcontract shall contain a clause to the effect that until the expiration of seven (7) years after the furnishing of such services pursuant to such subcontract, the related organization shall make available, upon written request to the Secretary of Health and Human Services, or upon request to the Comptroller General, or any of their duly authorized representatives, the subcontract, and books, documents and records of such organization that are necessary to verify the nature and extent of such costs.
