Access Channel definition

Access Channel means any Channel, or portion thereof, designated for Access purposes or otherwise made available to facilitate or transmit Access programming or services.

Access Channel. A video Channel, which Franchisee shall make available to the LFA without charge for Public, Educational, or Governmental noncommercial use for the transmission of video programming as directed by the LFA.

Access Channel means any form of access technology including the Internet or mobile phone technologies or Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.

Examples of Access Channel in a sentence

• An Access Channel available for the sole noncommercial use of the LFA.

• An Access Channel available for noncommercial use solely by the residents in the Franchise Area on a first-come, first-served, nondiscriminatory basis.

• The following arrangements for interconnection are available: (1) Network Access Channel; (2) Collocation; (3) Mid-Span Meet facilities.

• With respect to signal quality, Grantee shall not be required to carry a PEG Access Channel in a higher quality format than that of the Channel Signal delivered to Grantee, but Grantee shall distribute the Access Channel Signal without degradation.

• Grantee shall carry all components of the standard definition Access Channel Signals provided by the Designated Access Provider including, but not limited to, closed captioning, stereo audio and other elements associated with the Programming.

More Definitions of Access Channel

Access Channel or “Access Channels” shall mean all Public Access Channels, Educational Access Channels, and Government Access Channels that Grantee is required to provide under this Franchise Agreement, at no charge to the Authority, and carried on the Cable System for the benefit of the TBNK Member Governments, residents thereof and Access Users.
