Accelerated courses definition

Accelerated courses means courses delivered in shortened semesters which are expected to have the same number of contact hours and the same requirement for out-of-class learning as courses taught in a normal semester.

Examples of Accelerated courses in a sentence

  • Accelerated courses offered in the evenings, online, and on Saturdays are intense learning experiences adapted to an accelerated time frame.

  • When necessary to calculate a grade point average (GPA) for Accelerated courses, five (5) quality points will be awarded for an A, four (4) points for a B, three (3) points for a C, and two (2) points for a D.

  • Accelerated courses use a condensed curriculum, providing instruction five days a week with eight-hour school days.

  • Improper governmental action means any action by a district officer or employee:

  • Enforcement Action means any action of any kind to:

  • Illegal Activity means the wilful possession of an illegal drug, dangerous object, or stolen item.

  • Settled Defendants means, in respect of each Proceeding, any Defendant (excluding the Settling Defendants) that executes its own settlement agreement with the Plaintiffs in that Proceeding and whose settlement agreement becomes effective in accordance with its terms, whether or not such settlement agreement is in existence at the Date of Execution.
