Academic mentor definition

Academic mentor means the person (or persons) responsible for supporting and mentoring the fellow for the whole duration of the fellowship and ensuring the academic quality of the research produced during the fellowship. An academic mentor must be an academic staff member of the host institution and should be expected to be employed by the proposed host institution for the entire duration of the fellowship. Academic mentors are permitted to support more than one fellow under the Career-FIT1 and Career-FIT PLUS programmes.
