Aboriginal Site definition

Aboriginal Site means a place to which the Aboriginal Heritage Act applies by operation of section 5 of the Aboriginal Heritage Act, including sites that are not on the Aboriginal Heritage Act Register.

Aboriginal Site means an ‘Aboriginal site’ as defined in the Heritage Act or a ‘significant Aboriginal area’ as defined in the Aboriginal and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Islander Heritage Protection Act 1984 (Cth) or an ‘area or site of particular significance’ within the meaning of section 237(b) of the Native Title Act. “Activity” includes both Non Ground Disturbing Activity and Ground Disturbing Activity pursuant to the Licence on the Licence Area.
Aboriginal Site means a place to which the AHA applies by operation of section 5 of the AHA, including sites that are not on the Aboriginal Heritage Register established and maintained under section 38 of the AHA.
