The Firm operates a two year tied contract which commences at the conclusion of the training contract. Therefore, if the trainee leaves during that two year period following completion of the training contract, the trainee is required to pay to the Firm part of the cost incurred by the Firm in relation to training which is pro rata over the two year period. The Firm places the cost of training at £20,000.
