Fox Development Corporation, in association with Provena Hospitals, is proposing to construct two private medical office buildings on the Urbana Provena campus along the south side of Park Street between Wright Street and Mathews Avenue. The two office buildings would be three stories in height and would flank a central court/fountain area. Two skywalks would be constructed across Park Street to connect the office buildings with the existing medical center and parking garage. The construction will require a partial vacation of right-of-way along Park Street in the vicinity of the first (westernmost) medical office building and vacation of Romine Street between University Avenue and Park Street) to allow construction of the fountain/court area upon construction of the second (eastern) medical office building. The Park Street vacation would not affect the traveled right-of-way or other public improvements along this street.
