After nearly five years of negotiation, on February 22, 2017, the City, MRA, and Hotel Fox Partners, LLC executed the Master Development Agreement regarding the City-owned land at the southeast corner of the intersection of West Front and North Orange Streets called the “Fox Site. Over those years, the project vision for the site grew from a grown from a hotel/restaurant/retail development on the Fox Site that the MRA and City hoped would act as a catalyst for additional redevelopment of the nearby area into an interrelated development of several city blocks. Upon request of the City, the hotel facility moved to include a major community resource in a conference center.
