It is the desire of the parties hereto to set forth herein the agreement between them for the term hereof in respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of employment and other conditions of employment to be observed by the parties hereto and the employees covered hereby, and to provide procedure for the prompt and equitable adjustment of grievances arising hereunder to the end that there shall be no interruptions or impeding of work, work stoppages, slowdowns, strikes, lockouts or other interference with production and maintenance of the Company’s Research Department during the term hereof.
