Youth Sports. It shall be the duty of the Contractor to read, become familiar with, and comply with Article III of Chapter 730 of the Suffolk County Code. All contract agencies that conduct youth sports programs are required to develop and maintain a written plan or policy addressing incidents of possible or actual concussion or other head injuries among sports program participants. Such plan or policy must be submitted prior to the award of a County contract, grant or funding. Receipt of such plan or policy by the County does not represent approval or endorsement of any such plan or policy, nor shall the County be subject to any liability in connection with any such plan or policy.
