Your Liability for Unauthorized Transfers. Immediately following your discovery of an unauthorized Payment Instruction, you shall communicate with customer care for the Service in the manner set forth in Section 6 of the General Terms above. You acknowledge and agree that time is of the essence in such situations. If you tell us within two (2) Business Days after you discover your password or other means to access your account through which you access the Service has been lost or stolen, your liability is no more than $50.00 should someone access your account without your permission. If you do not tell us within two (2) Business Days after you learn of such loss or theft, and we can prove that we could have prevented the unauthorized use of your password or other means to access your account if you had told us, you could be liable for as much as $500.00. Tell us at once if you believe your statement, account or transaction information, or security information has been lost, stolen, or compromised. Contacting us by phone is the best way of keeping your possible losses down. You could lose all the money in your account, as well as your maximum overdraft line of credit, if applicable. If we determine we need this extra time, we will provisionally credit your account within ten business days for the amount you think is in error. You will have the use of the money during the time it takes us to complete our investigation. If we ask you to put your complaint or question in writing and we do not receive it within ten business days, we may not provisionally credit your account. If we decide that there was no error, we will send you a written explanation within three business days after we finish our investigation. You may ask for copies of the documents we used in our investigation. Security of Website While the credit union has taken all necessary and optional precautions to ensure the security and safety of its website and the Internet Banking Service, the credit union does not guarantee that downloads from the site will be free of any viruses or other destructive devices. Additionally, you provide, request, and receive information from the site with the knowledge that such information can be intercepted and/or viewed by unknown third parties.

If a good reason (such as a long trip or a hospital stay) prevented you from telling us, we will extend the time periods specified above to a reasonable period. When you give someone your password or other means to access your account through which you access the Zelle® and Other Payment Services, you are authorizing that person to use your service, and you are responsible for all transactions that person performs while using your service. All transactions that person performs, even those transactions you did not intend or want performed, are authorized transactions. Additionally, transactions that you or someone acting with you initiates with fraudulent intent are also authorized transactions. Note: These liability rules only apply to Eligible Transaction Accounts used for personal, family and household purposes.

Therefore, you should notify us at once if you believe a Transfer has occurred in your Account without your permission. Should your Advantage Account statement show any Transfer that you did not authorize, please notify us at once. If you do not notify us within 60 days after the Account statement was mailed, you may not get back any money you lost after the 60 days if we can prove that we could have stopped the unauthorized Transfer if you had notified us in time. If a good reason (such as a long trip or hospital stay) keeps you from notifying us, the time periods above may be extended. If your Account is a "Commercial Account" (which is defined in this Advantage Agreement as an account for a Corporation, Nonprofit Organization, Noncorporate Organization, Partnerships, Estates, Pension and Profit Sharing Plans [not including IRAs and Employee Stock Ownership Plans] and other Trust), you are liable for all unauthorized Transfers up to the time at which you notify us.

If you believe your account and/or password has been compromised, or if you believe an electronic fund transfer has been made without your permission using information from your account (account and routing number information), you must tell us immediately by telephone or in writing. If a good, documented, reason (such as a long trip or a hospital stay) kept you from telling us, we will extend the time periods.
