YOU HAVE A COOLING-OFF PERIOD. 3.1. The Claimant may, by written notice, terminate this agreement within 21 days of entering into this agreement. If the Claimant does so, the Claimant will not be liable to pay any amounts whatsoever under this agreement. Note: You can get out of this agreement for any reason and not pay us anything as long as you write to us and tell us you are terminating this agreement within 21 days of entering into this agreement.

  • STRS PICK-UP A. The Board shall pick-up contributions to the State Teachers’ Retirement System paid on behalf of the employees in the bargaining unit utilizing the salary reduction method under the following terms and conditions:

  • Employee Leaving During Notice An employee whose employment is to be terminated for reasons set out in this clause may terminate employment during the period of notice and, if so, shall be entitled to the same benefits and payments under this clause had the employee remained with the employer until the expiry of such notice.   • Right to Have a Xxxxxxx Present (a) An Employee shall have the right to have his/her xxxxxxx present at any discussion with supervisory personnel which the Employee believes might be the basis of disciplinary action. Where a supervisor intends to interview an Employee for disciplinary purposes the supervisor shall make every effort to notify the Employee in advance of the purpose of the interview in order that the Employee may contact his/her xxxxxxx, providing that this does not result in an undue delay of the appropriate action being taken.

  • Canceling Dependent Coverage During Open Enrollment In addition to the above situations, dependent health or dependent dental coverage may also be cancelled for any reason during the open enrollment period that applies to each type of plan (as long as allowed under the applicable provisions, regulations and rules of the federal and state law in effect at the beginning of the plan year).

  • Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Employees who work overtime will not be required to take time off in regular hours to make up for overtime worked. Time off in lieu may be taken on a mutually agreed upon basis between the employee and the Hospital, such time off will be the equivalent of the premium rate the employee has earned for working overtime. The Hospital shall revert to payment of premium rate if time off is not taken within ninety (90) calendar days of the work week in which the overtime was earned or, with the employee’s agreement, within 12 months of that work week.

  • Addressing Objections Raised During Public Comment Period The Parties agree that the procedure contemplated for public review of this Stipulated Order and the Regional Water Board’s or its delegate’s adoption of this Stipulated Order is lawful and adequate. The Parties understand that the Regional Water Board or its delegate has the authority to require a public hearing on this Stipulated Order. If procedural objections are raised or the Regional Water Board requires a public hearing prior to the Stipulated Order becoming effective, the Parties agree to meet and confer concerning any such objections, and may agree to revise or adjust the procedure and/or this Stipulated Order as necessary or advisable under the circumstances.
