Xxxxxxxxxxxx Absence. Unauthorized leave from duty shall be deemed to be without pay and may be grounds for disciplinary action by the OSFM. Employees may be allowed to cover such absences with accrued vacation time or compensatory time if extenuating circumstances existed. Any employee who is absent for three (3) consecutive workdays without authorized leave shall be deemed to have resigned unless prevented from notifying the Employer due to circumstances beyond their control.
