Xxxxxxx Premium. When one of the Laborers is designated to act as xxxxxxx, they shall receive two dollars and twenty-five cents ($2.25) per hour above the highest classification supervised. The contractor shall have the right to determine in their sole discretion the need for and the number of Laborer Foremen or Traffic Control Supervisors. It being further understood that all crews that are made up of a majority of Laborers shall be supervised by a Laborer Xxxxxxx. When a Powder Man is designated to act as xxxxxxx, they shall receive two dollars and twenty- five cents ($2.25) per hour above their Group Rate.

Xxxxxxx Premium. The Employer may appoint an employee to serve as a xxxxxxx at its sole discretion. Generally, the designation shall apply to employees that have reached the top level of their respective classification for an employee who is able to demonstrate skill as a leader in the workplace and who is proficient at the work assigned to him.
Xxxxxxx Premium. A xxxxxxx shall be appointed by the Contractor and such xxxxxxx shall be a member of the bargaining unit and shall be employed under the terms of this Agreement. The xxxxxxx shall receive not less than two dollars and fifty cents ($ 2.50) per hour more than the applicable journeyperson wage rate provided in this Agreement.
Xxxxxxx Premium. The Employer may appoint an employee to serve as xxxxxxx at its sole discretion. Any employee who is designated as a xxxxxxx for more than five (5) consecutive days by the Employer, shall receive a premium of ten percent (10%). Any employees who are designated a xxxxxxx by the Employer for less than five (5) consecutive days shall receive a premium of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour.

Xxxxxxx are responsible for the oversight and direction of one or more jobsite(s). Foremen are responsible for the daily organization of work and the control of labour equipment and materials to ensure that acceptable standards of quality, safety, and production are maintained.

LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING #1 Between BEL-CON DESIGN BUILDERS LTD. and CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF CANADA LONG TERM DISABILITY COVERAGE & VOLUNTARY PENSION CONTRIBUTIONS The Employer acknowledges that the Benefit Plan provides for Long Term Disability insurance coverage (“LTD”). Where applicable, the Employer, as directed by the Union Benefit Administration Office, will deduct the cost of such LTD coverage from the employee’s pay cheques. The monthly cost as directed by the Union Benefit Office will be deducted in equal parts from each pay cheque in a given month, and remitted together with the Employer’s Benefit Plan contribution in accordance with Article 13 – CLAC Health Fund of the Agreement. Participation in the plan and in the payroll deduction is mandatory. The Employer agrees to deduct by way of payroll deduction and remit to the Union’s Benefit Administration Office an amount as directed by each employee as voluntary employee pension contributions over and above the contributions noted in Schedule “A”.
