Xxxx Level. The xxxx shall make a separate investigation and determination of appeals of the CAC and shall advise the faculty member of the xxxx'x determination. The xxxx may refer such appeals to the CAC for further consideration. The xxxx may request additional supporting materials for clarification of the previous bodies’ decisions, the application, or the appeal. The xxxx may overrule the CAC’s recommendation only for reasons based on the evidence relative to the achievement of the criteria specified in Section 5.5.5. and 5.5.6. The xxxx shall forward a copy of the appeal, additional supporting documents, and the xxxx’x report to the candidate and prior evaluatory body.

Xxxx Level. Within fifteen (15) days of the time a grievance arises, or within fifteen (15) days of the time the cause of the grievance could reasonably have been known by the grievant (in no case more than thirty (30) days for the individual grievant after the cause of the grievance), the AIU member, or Union at the request of the AIU member, will present a written, signed statement of the grievance to the appropriate xxxx, with notification to the Union. The written statement shall specify the specific provision(s) of the Agreement allegedly violated and include a brief summary of the facts supporting the alleged violation(s). Within fifteen (15) days after notification of the grievance, a meeting will take place between the AIU member and the xxxx and a representative of the Union if requested by the adjunct faculty member. The xxxx shall give the AIU member and the Union a written answer within fifteen (15) days after the meeting.
Xxxx Level. The Xxxx of the school or college will meet with the grievant and hear the grievance within twenty (20) university days of its presentation. The grievant is entitled to representation by the Association at this meeting. The Xxxx will render a decision in writing to the Association within ten (10) university days of the hearing. If there is no incumbent Xxxx of the school or college, the Association shall proceed to Step II below.

  • Staffing Levels To the extent legislative appropriations and PIN authorizations allow, safe staffing levels will be maintained in all institutions where employees have patient, client, inmate or student care responsibilities. In July of each year, the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of each agency will, upon request, meet with the Union, to hear the employees’ views regarding staffing levels.   • Lower Salary Level An employee who accepts another position with a lower salary range will be paid an amount equal to his or her current salary, provided it is within the salary range of the new position.   • Multiplier For Work assigned under this Agreement, a maximum multiplier of 2.9 for home office and 2.4 for field office shall apply to Consultant’s hourly Wage Rates in calculating compensation payable by the City.
