Xxxx Leave With Pay. Members of the bargaining unit will receive sick leave credits of no less than 8 hours of sick leave for each full month of service or two hours for each full week of service of less than one month and be able to use them as provided by OAR 000-00-000. Members employed .50 FTE or more will be credited a prorated amount. For the purposes of this article, OAR 101-010- 0005(8) outlines the rules for domestic partners.

Xxxx Leave With Pay. 1. All employees shall accrue sick leave as an insurance against the impact of personal illness or injury as provided in ORS 332.507. Full-time twelve (12) month employees shall accrue twelve (12) days each fiscal year, and employees who serve for a fraction of the fiscal year and/or a fraction of the regular workday shall accrue sick leave benefits on a prorata basis. Computations shall be based on a single workday reporting schedule and the number of days reporting. In no event will sick leave be available for a day that would not otherwise have been a regular workday. Each employee shall be furnished a statement each payday showing the number of hours of accumulated unused sick leave available. Unused sick leave shall accumulate to an unlimited total.

As used in this Article, incapacitation means the inability of an employee to perform the material duties of his or her employment. Sick leave with pay may be used for serious illness in the employee’s immediate family as set forth in Section 13. 3.

Xxxx Leave With Pay. Xxxx leave with pay shall be allowed by the Board whenever a teacher's absence is found to have been due to illness which prevented his/her attendance at school and performance of duties on that day or days. A teacher's sick leave may also be used for the care of an ill child pursuant to MN Stat. § 181.9413. The Board may require a teacher to furnish a medical certificate from the school health officer or from a qualified physician as evidence of illness, indicating such absence was due to illness, in order to qualify for sick leave pay. In the event that a medical certificate will be required, the teacher will be so advised. Sick leave pay shall be approved only upon the submission of an electronic request (currently through AESOP) or a signed request upon the authorized sick leave pay request form available at the office. However, the final determination as to the eligibility of a teacher for sick leave is reserved to the Board.

  • Leave With Pay Compassionate leave of absence with pay shall be granted for three (3) work days. Up to two (2) additional days with pay shall be granted for travelling time when this is warranted in the judgement of the Employer.

  • Disability Leave with Pay (A) An employee who sustains a job-related disability and is eligible for disability leave with pay under the provisions of Rule 60L-34, Florida Administrative Code, shall be carried in full-pay status for up to 40 work hours immediately following the onset of the injury without being required to use accrued leave.

  • SICK LEAVE WITH PAY LIMITATION 175. An employee who is absent because of disability leave and who is receiving disability indemnity payments may request that the amount of disability indemnity payment be supplemented with salary to be charged against the employee's sick leave with pay credits so as to equal the amount the employee would have earned for a regular work schedule. If the employee wishes to exercise this option, the employee must submit a signed statement to the employee's department no later than thirty (30) days following the employee's release from disability leave.

  • Personnel Selection Leave With Pay Where an employee participates in a personnel selection process, including the appeal process where applicable, for a position in the Public Service or in the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, as defined in the Public Service Labour Relations Act, the employee is entitled to leave with pay for the period during which the employee's presence is required for purposes of the selection process, and for such further period as the Employer considers reasonable for the employee to travel to and from the place where his presence is so required.
