Written Plan of Benefits. The detailed basis on which payment of benefits is to be made pursuant to this Agreement shall be specified in writing by appropriate resolutions of the Trustees subject, however, to such change or modification by the Trustees from time to time as they in their discretion may determine. All such changes or modifications shall similarly be specified in writing by appropriate resolution of the Trustees. The Trustees shall have full discretionary authority to administer and interpret the Plan.

Written Plan of Benefits. After determination of the detailed basis upon which payments of Benefits is to be made pursuant to this agreement, the same shall be specified in writing by appropriate resolution of the Directors, and set forth in the Plan Documents, subject, however, to such change or modification by the Directors from time to time as they in their discretion may determine. All such changes or modifications shall be similarly specified in writing by appropriate resolution of the Directors and set forth in the Plan Documents. The Summary Plan Description for Active Participants, the Summary Plan Description for Retired Participants, the Group Master Contracts issued to the Directors and any amendments or modifications to such documents which are adopted from time to time are expressly incorporated herein and made part of this agreement.
Written Plan of Benefits. The detailed basis on which payment of benefits is to be made, pursuant to this Trust Agreement shall be set forth in the Plan of Pension Benefits. Such Plan of Pension Benefits shall be subject to change or modification by the Trustees from time to time as they may, in their discretion, determine provided, however, that no such change or modification that increases the past service and/or future service benefits or involves a change in the eligibility requirements for participation in the Plan of Pension Benefits or in the eligibility requirements for any benefit under the Plan of Pension Benefits shall be adopted except by a resolution adopted by a majority vote of all members of the Board of Trustees, following advice by the actuarial consulting company to the Board of Trustees that any such change or modification is actuarially within the financial limitations of the Pension Trust Fund. The Board of Trustees shall reduce the benefits when and to the extent that they are advised by the actuary that it is necessary to make any such reduction in order to stay within the financial limitations of the Plumbers and Pipefitters National Pension Fund. Any change in or modification of the Plan of Pension Benefits made by the Board of Trustees shall be set forth in writing by the Trustees, with notice to the Employers and the Union.

  • Explanation of Benefits Contractor shall send each Enrollee an Explanation of Benefits to Enrollees in Plans that issue Explanation of Benefits or similar documents as required by Federal and State laws, rules, and regulations. The Explanation of Benefits and other documents shall be in a form that is consistent with industry standards.

  • Article 189. Suspension of Benefits 1. The complaining Party may, at any time thereafter, communicate in writing to the Party complained against its intention to suspend the application of benefits in 30 days upon reception of such communication,if: (a) the disputing Parties are unable to agree on a compensation within 30 days after the period for establishing such compensation has begun, or the Party complained against has failed to observe the terms of the agreed compensation within 30 days following such agreement; (b) the Panel under the Article 187 (Examination of the Implementation) finds that the Party complained against fails to bring the measure found to be inconsistent with this Agreement into compliance with the recommendations of the Panel within the period of time established; or (c) the Party complained against expresses in writing that it will not implement the recommendations. 2. The complaining Party may initiate the suspension of benefits within 30 days following the latest date between the date of the communication pursuant to paragraph 1 of this Article and the date when the Panel issued its report pursuant to Article 190 (Examination of Benefit Suspension Level). 3. The level of benefits to be suspended shall have an equivalent effect to the benefits not being received. 4. In considering what benefits to suspend pursuant to paragraph 1: (a) the complaining Party should first seek to suspend benefits in the same sector or sectors affected by the measure; and (b) if the complaining Party considers that it is not practicable or effective to suspend benefits in the same sector or sectors, it may suspend benefits in other sectors. The communication in which it announces such a decision shall indicate the reasons on which it is based.

  • Integration of Benefits If you are disabled, the monthly payments under this plan will be reduced by the amount of any Periodic Payments you are entitled to apply for and receive with respect to the disability under any Workplace Safety & Insurance Act, the Canada Pension Plan or the Quebec Pension Plan. The amounts deducted will not include any additional benefits payable for children or subsequent cost of living increases.

  • Duration of Benefits Eligibility for Income Protection benefits will cease upon the earliest of the following dates:

  • Retention of Benefits Union leave under the following four (4) sections will be unpaid. The Employer will maintain regular pay and xxxx the Union for the costs of the employee’s salary and benefits. If the Union member is part-time or casual, and the leave is greater than their normal work hours, the Employer will pay the employee for the full length of the leave requested by the Union. The Employer will xxxx the Union for these days as noted above. The Union will pay these invoices within twenty-eight (28) days. Union leave is not unpaid leave for the purposes of Article 22.02 [i.e. such leave will not affect the employee’s benefits, seniority or increment anniversary date].

  • Extension of Benefits Upon termination of insurance, whether due to termination of eligibility, or termination of the Contract, an extension of benefits shall be provided for a period of no less than 30 days for completion of a dental procedure that was started before Your coverage ended.

  • Payment of Benefits Any amounts due under this Agreement shall be paid in one (1) lump sum payment as soon as administratively practicable following the later of: (i) Xx. Xxxxxx'x Termination Date, or (ii) upon Xx. Xxxxxx'x tender of an effective Waiver and Release to the Company in the form of Exhibit A attached hereto and the expiration of any applicable revocation period for such waiver.
