Workweek Defined. The workweek shall begin at 00:00 a.m. Sunday and end at 12:00 Midnight the following Saturday. All permanent full-time employees in the unit shall be scheduled for five (5) shifts of eight (8) hours with two (2) consecutive days off within each workweek, or four (4) shifts of ten (10) hours with three (3) consecutive days off within each workweek. Saturday and Sunday will be considered as consecutive days off within the workweek.

Workweek Defined. The employee’s assigned workweek shall begin with the starting of the employee’s first 24 hour period as defined in Section 10.2 and shall end 168 hours later.

All employees are eligible to participate in the Direct Deposit pay program when such program becomes effective. This electronic deposit of funds produces a check stub instead of an actual check at each pay period.

However, prior to doing so, the Employer will give the bargaining unit no less than a thirty (30) day notice of such change and will also meet with the Union to explain its reasons for change. Shift hours established by the department and starting times may have to be staggered for individual employees. For purposes of computation of pay, the workweek is Sunday 12:01 A.M. through Saturday midnight. Each employee will make arrangements for lunch. The employee may go off campus to eat. Those employees required to remain on duty and on call during their meal period, shall have the meal period considered as part of their standard work day schedule. Except for a call requiring immediate action, as determined by the supervisor or OIC, the employee’s lunch break shall not be interrupted.
Workweek Defined. The workweek is 12:01 a.m. Tuesday to 12:00 a.m. (midnight) the following Monday. Department Directors and individual employees may agree to modify the workweek in order to facilitate alternative work schedules as provided in this MOU.

Workweek Defined. It is understood that the typical workweek for full-time salaried staff shall generally average forty (40) hours per week. The work week shall commence on Monday through Sunday. Overtime-exempt employees are expected to exercise significant personal judgment and individual initiative in performance of their jobs as agents responsible for administering the Employer’s affairs, projects, plans, policies and core business functions. It is understood by the parties that because of the mission of the Employer salaried, Overtime-exempt staff may be required to work long and irregular hours during specific periods of time; and to work on weekends and holidays, and to travel away from home or the assigned locations for extended periods of time. The Employer will make a good faith effort to notify employees of major schedule changes two (2) weeks in advance, for example if there will be multiple days of mandatory evening or weekend work. However, because of the nature of the work this will not always be possible.
